there isn't anything you can do this is NA, the company is leaving this market, the few remaining employees are filling out resumes and sailing for greener pastures, they closed the San Francisco and Seattle offices already, they haven't had a hit game since World of Warships, and they've introduced bots to keep the matchmaker working.  WG isn't going to ban anybody, the server is going to be going offline any minute now, heck it may already be offline and I haven't noticed.   There won't be any warning, it was just like when they closed USW.

I went through a period of about 6 weeks recently where the same 10-12 players went afk immediately when the matches would start, so I kept reporting them every time. I used up all 10 of my reports every day reporting them for inactivity and now only 2 of them are still in the MM when I play and they don't afk anymore so I can only guess that the 2 that still play got off with warnings and the rest got bans.

can't tell if serious or trolling, but official announcements aren't "any warning"  ?

I don't know what time of day you play at,  but I don't think I've seen repeat players more than once a week. Probably less than that.

I even saw a player report another player for not going the way that heavies go on a certain map. Then had the audacity to say in the ingame chat that he was reporting the player for not going the right way.

Did he go the "right way"? No he didn't but I'm not sure being bad or not knowing the game is a reportable offense.

That guy wouldn't like me in my T-10 then...

you are getting your dream [edited]  dont worry. soon it will be you and the other schills left. but since you dont play this much either, you will be circle jerking around here reminiscing of the old days when you had players to try to chase away

So how does this explain why you're still here?? Because again, it seems like only an idiot would support a company that they incessantly cry and whine about at the same time...

Like other  offenses, such as physics abuse, I do not believe WG does anything at all about it.  I think the reporting and ticket features are just placebos designed to make the offended party feel better. I don't believe people get banned...not for a second.

I'm sure there are 'token' bans but they are rare.  That way they can point to some.

A group needs to get together with a guy that has a throwaway account and do 'countdown drops'.  When they get in the same game then the throw away account can do physics abuse on his partner that made it in and then report it to WG.  If something is done then there would be proof that at least a few get penalized.

Sometimes I get insomnia and can wake up any time between 1 and 4 AM so I play for a little while. There are usually less than 150 people waiting, so seeing the same ones over and over isn't unusual at that time. I guess these people figured they'd be less likely to be reported if they logged in when there were very few people online.
