It's pretty clear that the T95/FV4201 was never tested properly for game balance.  Literally every match that has one even in an tier-10-only match the T95/FV4201 has the highest damage of any tank.  I have yet to see a match with it where one did less than 4.5K damage, and not because of brilliant game play.  The fact that it is a 1970's MBT going up against late-1940's designs like the e100 makes it even more lop-sided.  Even worse is that MM often only puts ONE in a match, so one team has a distinct advantage.  I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this but this tank needs to be either seriously nerfed in terms of gun-handling and top speed, removed from Random Battles, or removed entirely like the WT-E100.  If we are going down this road, why not bring in the Merkavah, the Leopard 2, the M1A1, etc.  It makes absolutely no sense for game balance.  I know I'm not the only one with these sentiments, as the chat logs from every match with a T95/FV4201 on the enemy team read like a suicide note -- "GG" before it even starts.  This needs to be changed and sooner than now.

no

most peoples DPG in this tank is like 2k-3k

and those who are really good have 4k+

players who play them are very good and chances are they use food, improved equipment, and spam gold to even get a chance to mark it

if u ever play it ull see its not that easy, good players just utilize its strength

"Literally every match that has one even in an tier-10-only match the T95/FV4201 has the highest damage of any tank."

A wee bit of exaggeration here as I've seem them get beat down or even finish in the bottom half of 8-9-10 matches.

Regardless, I'd agree they and other clan reward tanks should not be allowed in random battles.

Every time I run into one of these, they are spamming gold. And I am usually bottom tier in a non-armored tank. So looking forward to gold nurf.

Facing them in a tier 8 is so fun.

What I wonder is : "Did the same guy that designed the Setter line design the Chieftain ? "

The clanwars reward tanks should have pref tier ten only mm, as they were designed with all tier ten clanwars battles in mind.  Most of them are better then average tech tree tanks at tier ten, so sticking them in battles with tier eights is just a bad idea.

Simple solution is clam wars reward tanks can ONLY be used in clam wars, but of course then the uni's that have them would cry because they can't show off their e-peen in random battles.

The problem with that solution is that it makes it harder to break into clan wars. Better solution is to just balance the CW tanks properly.

You are neglecting to mention that this is a reward vehicle that is primarily owned by very skilled players. Similar to the 279e.

Sure the tank is good, but this is skewed by the average skill level of the people who drive it.

CW reward tanks have been around for years. As far as I know they have always been allowed in random battles. My guess is that this is not going to change because of forum posts. It is apparent that WG wants CW participation and nerfing reward tanks would go against that. They have buffed several of them not so long ago.

If we're going to deal with unbalanced tanks, give me back my WT-E100 so I can gold-spam a T95/FV4201 to death in a single clip and be done with it.  Yes CW reward tanks have been around for a while, but I think it would make more sense for them to offer custom skins for tanks (121B, anyone??) rather than a completely new/untested tank.  If enough people get sick of the lopsided losses because of this lack of balance, they will leave the game.  WG needs to think about keeping the player base and attracted new players, not catering to the top 2% of players.  That's Trump thinking and it is going to drive the game into the ground.

"Waaaah Im not good/dedicated enough to do well in clam wars, so I'm going to cry on the forum about fairness. I'm also going to ignore that thin roof and rear armor makes it an arty magnet when it plays hulldown."

BTW I've been noticing ALOT of the newer chieftain owners are managing <2000 DPG, pretty fair to assume most of the whiners would too.

0 battles -- nice trolling.

thats why driving tier 10 tds is so satisfying just hit them for big damage and keep doing it

Its not an auto win tank but it sure gets more than its share of damage.

I’ve seen several 45-50% players with that tank and guess what there performance in the t95/FV4201 was subpar at best .

Played a game earlier and a 46% player on my team had played the t95/F , 119 times with a average of 883 dpg 45% wr.

Players makes the tank good or bad .

Ah yes, the "just because you don't have it means you can't say bad things about it" argument. In case you missed it, getting a Chief requires zero dedication or skill.

1.) Play 5 CW battles, or whatever the minimum amount was this time. Heck, go AFK if you want.

2.) Open up the bonds vault.

3.) Obtain Chief for doing basically nothing.

That being said, the Chief is still absolutely bonkers broken. If anything, it should be taken away from everyone like the WT100 was and replaced with one of the other (more balanced) Chief flavors WG seems to have stored in the garage. A 1970s MBT has absolutely no business going against tanks from the 1940s.
