Balance Grasshopper, it is about Balance.

Glad it is balanced, wish the price reflected that instead of being priced the same as the OP premium mediums.

More tempted to buy it even at the price than I normally would be simply to reward WG for releasing a balanced tank for once.

Not bad but it would have been better if you showed one tier 8, tier 9 and tier 10 battle. That would have presented the T27 in a more realistic light as opposed to always being top tier.

To me it seems to be another Lansen, everyone said it too was 'balanced' but to me it seems pretty strong. I love playing the Lansen and so far I've found the T27 to be really good, especially since my crew sucks. Commander is good, I put Harlot Wells in the T25 when I got her but the other three don't even have a skill trained. It's decently mobile, gun handling is very good for an autoloader, I usually at least hit what I'm aiming at and the turret is a lot better than the Progetto, I think it's round shape really helps with the odd angles, I've bounced shots from all directions off it fairly regularly.

The biggest downsides are it's meh pen, it gets ammo racked like a mother(though I don't have SS yet), and it seem to catch fire a lot so running food might not be an option unless you have a firefighting crew. The fuel tanks must be in a autolock spot or something since the engine only has a 12% chance to light up. Also VR is a bit low but I have 447 atm with Optics, Vents, SA and 68% Recon. I always aim for 445 so once I get BIA and Recon fully trained it will be more than adequate.
