I am trying to figure out which arty have the high shell arc so I will be able to look at the pre-battle screen and know that certain positions will not be viable. We all know of some buildings/rocks not giving cover to certain arty.I am curious just which arty has the high shell arc.

British-shortest range and the highest shell arc

Moving mitigates the "arty safe spaces"...

Moving marginally mitigates the "arty safe space". I was in an EBR going full tilt driving as randomly as I possibly could and got one shot by an M44 who got lucky and direct hit, penned, and set me on fire.

EDIT:

Also, all the British are the ones with the high shell arcs. The M44 specifically also has a decent shell arc but not nearly as good as the others. However, if you're repeatedly getting nailed by a Bishop or FV304, you can just retreat and you'll likely be out of range, as their's does not even extend to 500m.

Might have been me hitting your EBR...

...and nope, I didn't get lucky over 50 times. I intentionally target the Mario Carts in my arty... ;)

If it was me POPPIN' your Mario Cart, more than likely you were going in a straight line, in a predictable zig zag pattern or along a predictable route...

But keep saying I just got lucky POPPIN' the Mario Carts, if it makes you feel any better... :P

British, German and Russian do, but then tend to flatten out over the duration of the tiers, the Germans less than the Russians, while the British is the goto as far as far being able to be lob shells around cover.
