DDAY and HHOUR are clans in the same family.  DDAY is more competitively oriented, and HHOUR is less so.  The main difference being DDAY is aimed at participation in clan wars.  The two clans share a teamspeak server.  You can move between clans if the situation warrants.

Whether you join or not, you can hit me up to play sometime.  Preferably when you get to tier 4...  I am not very fond of the low tier gameplay.  :)

I'm looking for a clan mostly battle when off of work via PC 9pm-2am central new to the game saw some guys playing on youtube and decided to download.  Is it better to just purchase a tank vs starting with the medium that I have?

Beginners should probably spend time going through the learning material they have put in the game.  It's been a while, but I think they still have "boot camp", which teaches some of the basics.  Play what you have and figure out the research system for moving up tiers on the various tank lines.
