You know...it's been like what...a week we've had no Team Damage?

Sky hasn't really fallen.

Second point of datum;  I've played 70 games since 1.6 came out.  I've been intentionally pushed out or impeded from retreat 0 times in those 70 games.

Not sure about my games count, but I’ve had no griefing so far.

No, your experience is simply that you don't know what sanctions have been applied. In my experience, I know that WG takes these submissions seriously, and they do issue sanctions appropriately. However, any submission must clearly show deliberate actions to push and/or block, not accidental bumps or other interactions that might irk you.

Yeah, I guess a guy blocking me for the entire 10 minutes of the battle and playing within 3 hours of WG's response of my ticket is a clear indication that they take trolling and harassment seriously.

You wouldn't know , they don't publish that information.  Nice lie attempt though.  Sounded totally legit.

When you can see that the player you reported is playing within hours of WG's response, yeah, it's pretty clear they didn't do a damn thing.

Nice troll attempt though.

Well, based on your observations, the player could have easily received a 1-hour ban. The simple fact that you don't know, doesn't mean it didn't happen. I suggest if you wish to see how well they respond to these types of actions, you spend a match pushing around your friendly tanks and submit a replay for yourself and see what happens.

well i have been playing this game about 2 hours per day since patch.thats about 15-17 matches a day. no one has pushed me. a few have bumped me when leaving spawn...like always.no one has blocked my shots,or blocked my retreat. heck no one has been drawing fire by parking next to me a nd shooting.

it may be happening to others but i have NOT witnessed it.may be its the time of day? my sessions are usually early morning. maybe the griefers sleep in? i was shot by a teammate on purpose...but i think it was just for testing the anti-team damage thing. it was only at the very start...and he may have been one of those "YEEHAW lets start SHOOTING" types.i approve of the change....but i still have SafeShot installed...to prevent credit wasting.

I've hardly seen any of it since they removed team damage, almost none in fact, and admittedly I expected a lot more, it's certainly not any more than it was before. How would they be able to remove pushing anyway, no collision detection? That would be a lot of fun. #sarcasm

Except that it's always been a minimum 24 hour ban on suspensions based on tickets with replays, even after the imposition of the strike system.

I've been griefed/pushed just about every day since the end of friendly fire, but maybe I see it so often because when I play here in NZ, it's midnight or later in the US, so maybe the US players are already tired, angry, and/or self-righteous.

As to whether WG Support does anything, I have mixed results from sending in tickets:

1) I got blatantly griefed by a blue REL2 player who didn't believe I should be behind a bush. When I reported him, I noticed that he didn't play again for at least 3 days. Maybe he was 3-day suspended, or maybe he just didn't want to play.

2) A few days ago I reported another player, got back the usual, "We have investigation but can't tell you the results of it". Then I noticed that I'd made a typo in the offender's name. I checked, and there was no such player for the name as typed. Makes me pretty damned sure that WG's "we have investigated" was perhaps not the most accurate summary of WG's efforts on my ticket.

Clearly WG removed friendly fire because WG wanted to reduce the cost of their Support Department. I'm amused by WG's genius once again biting them in the butt.

I was sort of happy for the team damage change last night...full speed T64 T-Boned a full speed wheelie... phew, no damage...the wheelie I hit rolled twice.

It could easily be possible that your submission was the first on that player. Therefore, they would have only received a "warning".

But, since you DID see them "playing", it seems that the "warning" was enough to halt their "trolling"....at least for a little while.
