I successfully completed the Czech Holidays Challenge. So now I have a 3D Style for a tank that I will (most likely) never own.

Sure it's free, but has virtually no point. I'm not sure what I supposed to do with it. It has just as much worth to me as the 400+ designated target directives I have.

This mission series was not bad, but a little self-serving for WG.  The disparity in rewards between those buying the tank and those not was very large, and it makes it kind of obvious this was a sales pitch right from the start.

Too bad you can't sell it or even trade it:

I spent the weekend out of town at a wedding. I couldn't finish the grind. It's worth some gold to me. Oh well.

The Open Bar was worth it though. Switchback is awesome.

Really no different than getting a tier II or III tank from tank rewards. It sits in my garage never to be played but since it was free, I don't really care. I got the new 3D style by playing the game and unlike the campaigns, you really didn't have to do anything special to get it. I just scanned the list of rewards and there are items I will use so there will be some benefit to me.

I waited a day into the mission before deciding to play it or not, because I felt it was really only worth it if I bought the Skoda T27 for the rewards and I already have the Progetto 46, so.....

After thinking about it, and doing research on the Tier 9 and 10 Czech tanks (of which I only found many many positive reviews on those 2 tanks), I decided to do it, used my 20% discount and bought the T27 for about $ 35 bucks.

This mission was totally worth it in the end as it turns out!!!

For $ 35 bucks and about 350,000 XP and 10 Million in Silver, I was able to get the Tier 8, 9 and 10 Czech Autoloader tanks with 2 Crews on their 3rd skill by the end of this challenge, you can't beat that deal!!

Very very happy, thanks WG!!!

I would wait to see what they do this year for the holiday advent calendar sale. It might show up for that.

How can you not be sure? If you don't have the tank you can't use it.

Yes but you can at least play the tanks if you wanted to. I can't do anything w/ a 3D skin for a tank I don't have and probably won't get. I've played around with my L-60 from the X-Mas special (haven't found interest in the MKA or T116) and my T7 Car that I got from Tank Academy.

And for $35 dollars I can buy a whole tank of petrol for my (real life) car. Or three more months of Netflix.

You could just use the designated target directive...

I highly doubt you run a directive on every tank.

Huh? Put them on your tanks and use them, it's a free extra crew skill...

I run the Designated target on every tank I have (except the IKV 72, I have natural cover). You get a BUNCH from grinding Prestige in Frontline.

It's not an extremely helpful perk. I'd be much happier if I sold directives for 100 credits each.

Agree. I wish there was some way to sell off directives that I don't want/can't use. This is especially true for the Optical calibration and Pre-battle maintenance directives, as I don't have coated optics and toolboxes on any of my tanks.
