Something needs to be done about the automatic vertical aiming that happens over distances.

 

Small Fast wheeled target moving out in the open, I adjust my lead to hit such a fast moving target, my cross-hair has to be ahead his vehicle to accomplish this.
This causes my gun to elevate ABOVE the target to hit the backdrop that's like 1000m away instead of the vehicle that's 500m away.

I fire. Shot has good lead, but flies over his head by atleast a mile in an attempt to hit the mountain in the backdrop.

 

NEEDS TO BE FIXED I'm literally handicapped against the wheelie bois it is unfair.

I'm just completely handicapped -VS- wheeled vehicles … pretty much ruined Frontline Mode for me ...

I love it when they try to farm my arty in a zone already captured. Stoopid play - if they get me for 400 HP of dmg, I'll just respawn immediately in a fast med or light and end them for 900 HP - I win - all the time.

Adapt and overcome... FL is a great mode, learn to work it in your favor.

Doubt an arty player is capable of that but okay, you do you.

Don't worry OP. Fixing that problem won't make a difference. Even if you hit the guy you will get a satisfying 0 damage critical on his wheel.

AMEN, isn't that the truth, I hit one in my SU-130 TD, in the rear, mind you I have 232 pen, and it bounced off. then he circled back and took me out due to I was down to half HP.

I'm playing at 180-300 ping from Europe, like many other guys. And 80% of time I have no problems hitting the wheelie bois.

 

IDK what kind of handicap you have, but just like with all things in life - adapt and find the proper route to end your problems. It will get better in time.

Guns with low shell speed have to arc their shots.There is no way to "fix" the fact that your gun is technically aiming at spot that's "1000 meters" away and has to fire a jump shot to get the shell that far. Know your tanks limitations and stop trying to take impossible shots.

Even with a low shell velocity. you can arc a round for a shorter range vs a longer one.

 

The game automatically assumes i want to hit the back drop and elevates my gun to the maximum therefore firing the round really high instead of realizing i'm trying to hit a target that is closer.

I feel the wheeled vehichels have ruined the game for me...when they can take you out at random with such high powered guns, and in turn you can do little damage to them, even in a heavy. If your turret can keep up! This goes for any battle mode!

I agree with Haunted_Tank. Wheeled vehicles are an abomination to the game.
