Howdy Boom Jockeys!

 

The Winners for the August From the Forge Contest can be found HERE. 

For the new folk: 

Players send in some creations, they get voted on, and prizes go out. Creations we are looking for is anything World of Tanks themed created by our players. Some examples include pasta portrait of a Progetto Tank, Kit bashing a World of Tanks model to use in a popular table top game, or something a little more involved like making a pedal power tank car that shoots fireworks. (Please make that last one come true.) 

We will be doing some searches through our creative Forum Threads and gathering  entries for the first three weeks of every month. What I mean by "gather" is finding a bomb-diggity piece of art and requesting the creator if they would like to enter it into the contest. The last week will be put up to a community wide vote for Prize Packages including bonds, boosters, tanks, gold, and credits! 

 While the searches are happening by our team it's not the only way to get your creation discovered. Players can email their machinations to us at From_The_Forge@Wargaming.net.

 

The prizes for September are:

     3x 1hr 50% credits booster
     3x 1hr 100% xp booster

where will the voting take place? all the previous forge event threads only include the winners not the other entries.

hi there guys

 

this is a model of Rheinmetall Panzerwagon (tier X German light) I build for this month's Forge event, I modeled it in solidwork and 3D printed the parts with prusa I3 printer then painted and assembled it. it took 8 days to model, print. paint, and assemble. it is made of 96 parts consisted of 21 different component. hope u guys like it.

Howdy fellow tankers! This is the right forum, correct? Congrats to all you modelers and artists on fantastic work, and may the best man win!

 

I built this Tiger II/E 75 Standardpanzer from scratch, no directions, although I built the turret first in LDD. It probably took about 12 hours to get everything as close to the real prototype as possible.

 

The Insignia on the upper glacis is that of the 2nd SS panzerkorps "Das Reich", one of the few panzer divisions to receive the fabled "King Tiger", the others being the 1st SS "Adolf Hitler" Division (Hitlers personal guard), the 501st, and the 503rd Heavy Panzer battalions.

 

This Prototype has the newer and upgraded Henschel turret, instead of the standard Porsche Prototype turret. Instead of the 8,8cm anti tank gun that the real thing used, I used the 10,5cm Flak 38 gun with that perforated-can muzzle flash arrest. Personally, I think it looks cooler than the typical German muzzle brake.

There appears to be a crashed Willys Jeep in the dirt, as well as the parts from a crashed motorcycle.

 

Hope you like it! I had some leftover Track elements and stickers so I slapped together this Waffentrager pz.V "Grille" 15cm:

 

(I don't know much about this tank, although I don't think any were actually outfitted and/or put in combat situations.) Well thats all for me, Cheers!
