1 win out of 8 games this morning, my morale is shattered completely

At what point do you say enough is enough and stop playing before your WR and PR completely go down the drain? I usually try to stick it out and get all my exp boosts from prem but at this rate it seems its not possible

Past 2 days have been *extremely* rough, maybe 2 wins out of 20 games yesterday and 1 for 8 today

ugh... :(

Give it a few days away from the game, see how much you miss it. I usually play better after a break

If you care about your stats, stop playing as soon as you realize you are playing on tilt... any intelligent gambler or game player knows that.

Otherwise, play through your rough patches (since all you are experiencing is the downside of randomness, and that can never be avoided), only stopping when you have no more DESIRE to continue.

im trying to get the most out of my 10 day rental of the Churchill III, currently down to 4 days remaining and I wanted atleast a full perk crew for when I go down the Russian Heavy line

But I guess the game doesnt want me to have that :(

If you arent enjoying it don't play, I've come back every once and a while to try again and play a few games, hate it and then leave again. Ive played like 100 games in the last 3-4 year and the freedom of this game is great.

It is not the game causing your problems, it is how you are performing in the game.

A 1:8 morning is a good sign to go do something else for half an hour or an hour.  That usually makes a difference for me.

An  Irish reporter described people as “literally gutted” by the news of job losses. This means that their intestines were spilt.

Literally.

Mainly I play Tier VIII Premiums (VIIs sometimes) and On Track Tiers IX-X, so EVEN when on a losing streak, I rationalize that I'm still making and saving credits.  Yeah, the NOT making EXP hurts, but AT LEAST there is some Positivity to keep me playing until my Boosters expire.  When they do, if I'm not around a 50% win rate, I'll bail for awhile like TAO_TE_TOMATO said....

not really, was in 2 V E R Y stacked matches, teams have just been absolute crap today

was in a match in my Church III, along with another Church III and Church I

meanwhile the Enemy team has 2 KV-2's and 2 O-I exp, how is that even remotely fair? it isn't

I'm doing my fair share of damage in matches, pushing, etc. trying my best to communicate with my idiot teammates but they can't seem to figure out what WASD does, how to aim, where to aim or ANYTHING

so frustrating

sometimes playing another tank you can get better mm......I have felt punished for playing same tank that I enjoyed playing to much or as george said stop playing if you are not enjoying it.

I become frustrated alot since I work for a living and my playtime is limited.  it is very frustrating when you do have that day to grind your tank and you only lose etc.....

I started out 1-4 today.  I'm now sitting at 8-6, so it just depends on your mindset I guess.  If I'm not "in the mood" I play worse and lose more.

if i lose more then 3 matches in a tank in a day, i stop playing that tank. Unless i don't care at the time, in which case i regret breaking my one rule later.

And as a perfect example of breaking my own rules i'm trying to finish grinding the Leo to get the Emil, and after 8 loses in 10 matches, i'm not playing it anymore. at least not for a month, i'm sick of the tank( though i loved it before the losing streak).

Your sample size of 2 games is way way too small. That is not remotely statistically relevant to draw any meaningful conclusions.

In your last 1000 battles:

  • Your average tier is 3.49 so why are you surprised at all the bad players who have no idea what they are doing. Those tiers are full of newer players.
  • Your average winrate is 47.92% so you are roughly average as a player. If you want more wins at lower tiers then you need to be more of a factor to make up for all the bad players. These include:
    • If you want more wins at that low a tier average then you need to be more than your average of 324.57 in damage at a  WN8 of 1184.
    • Your K/D is 1.01. You need to be doing more than that, especially at lower tiers
    • Your survival rate is 21.61% which is low. Sounds like you are dying early after getting some damage, but that you are not around at the end of the battle to influence the match.

In essence you are average player who has little positive or negative influence on your battles, and you are playing at lower tiers which are full of bad players. You have earned exactly the winrate you deserve based on your contribution - all of this based on an adequate sample size of your last 1000 battles.

Free advice - want more wins then do more damage at the right time and preserve your HP till later in the game when you can have a bigger impact.

Do something that will change your mind set. Sometimes I disconnect then reconnect to the server. Go make some pop corn. There is a reason top gamblers have rituals and lucky charms. It is not that they believe in "magic", it is to get their mind to a certain place and keep it there. Of course sometimes with the total blowouts that are common now there is nothing you can do but laugh and do your best.

Or maybe those tiers suck and it is hard to get damage and stay alive when you are new because people with 30,000 games play thousands of games in tier 5 OP premium arty. Also you have the Calvin and Hobbes type of guy who plays tens of thousands of games in tier 5 with 6 skill crews just salivating when they see a new guy like him in a M3 lee or Churchill 3.

Solid advice.

WoT is like Hold em, sometimes you just run cold.  When this happens, get away from the game for an extended period of time.  I have done this with both games.  Grinding through a bad-streak is tough.  Playing on tilt, as Mr Preddy described,,is counterproductive, whatever your motives to play might be.
