There needs to be some kind of rebalance . Super heavy tanks like the maus,e100, type 5 line all of which are slow have major frontal weak points to anyone shooting premium ammo. Needless to say playing a tank thats slow and getting penned and drove around in circles helplessly really ruins there game play.  Ive played 6 years so far on and off and have allways preferred heavy tanks in general but with everyone spamming premium ammo and most teir 9/10 300 pen or better with premium rounds your just a big sitting duck .

It's not so much the tanks that need work, it's the prem rounds that need reworked.

These lines are doing well statistically - though the Type 4 and Type 5 Heavies have seen better days. Armored or not, keep in mind you should still employ armor angling and minimize exposure for best results.

I'm giving you a +1 for complaining about playing "slow" Super Heavy tanks and it not be about arty.

Super heavy tanks are a very good reason for premium ammo.

well yes and no . the super heavys being that slow the medium and light tanks should have to work just a tad to flank them for side or rear shots . currently i have teir 9 and 10 mediums that can hull down and premium ammo burn a maus , e100 or type 5 to the ground. another thing the in game pen green light in the targeting circle makes it all to easy even for inexperienced tankers to find those weak spots on the flat parts of the turret , gunners ports, commanders hatch what not.
