Hiya tankers.

One of my favorite things in WOT is killing a platoon. God knows I've been killed by platoons myself enough times in my days, so I do feel some wicked form of revenge when I do. I often imagine how the players contemplate after game how they were killed by the same bozo on the other team, feeling victimized. I get off on that - yes, I know it's silly but I am honest about it.

Normally I am quite respectful to other players. I PM enemy's and team mates who have done great games and congratulate them, and if I contact a team mate who has been really bad I generally offer help instead of insults. However, when I have killed a platoon I cannot help it but I contact both toon mates and heckle them a bit. I know it is childish but I like to rub it in a bit. I am not insulting, more like jeering. Most guys ignore it, some takes it on the chin, congrats me and tells me they will kill me next time, and it's all fine. But some get really offended and starts slinging back. That's fun too.

Today I killed a Lorr. 40t platoon at Pilsen and after the game I do what I do, and I tell them: "Sorry. I didn't target your fail platoon. You just got into my sights. Rofl.". One of them comes back right at me with insults telling me this is the second time I do it, and how much of a sad person I must be. Lol. What are the actual odds - I've killed his platoon twice. I totally crack up, laughing hysterically, obviously provoking him further. He tells me he wish I was a 13 year old girl because otherwise it would be really sad and I ask him why he wants himself and his toon mate to be killed twice by a 13 year old girl. Lol.

These are the things that make me look forward to the next time I play this game. People who can't handle that you rub it in a little extra are funny. Guys who call you a hax, aimbot cheater, and whatnot. It's lovely. Just wanted to share. I am signing out now - nothing will top this today. Laters.

Don't think I want to get into the name and shame issues. I'll pass this time.

I sometimes "tease" enemies that I have danced with and that teasing sometimes has an edge to it but wow, Bourbon, you sound like the south end of a north moving horse!  Have some class!

I would never tease an opponent , unless they contact me and start something. Then they deserve it.

I have tease my own teammates for suicide at the beginning of a battle , which the team has won without them. (had a guy in a defender(53%player) last night refuse to fight, cause XVM said we couldn't win. Won battle with 5 tanks left. He stayed in chat during battle and caught all sorts of grief for not helping).

Trying to rub in a win or for killing another tanker to me , is , well just wrong.( i do look at the people I've kill in battle at times , can make you feel better if they were a really good player)

So  you killed some guys, then initiated a chat by taunting them with "fail platoon"?  That's a [edited]move, bro

I am the one he contacted and I am glad to see that most people think he is pathetic as I do.

The bad thing about it is that it would have been different if it would have been a half [edited]decent match. The match was so lopsided we had a 28% chance of winning. He was basically seal clubbing.

The funny thing about it is that it pretty much happened exactly as he said it did, the fact that he has the audacity to tell his story on the forums shows his absolute lack of self-awareness and humility.

And yes I did insult him, but only after numerous unsolicited PMs from him gloating and attacking me and my clan.

Except for the fact that I never accused him of cheating, he wasn't that good. I just said he was adolescent and immature.

This person is the exact reason we have the toxic environment we do. Anyone who condones, supports or passively agrees with this is just as much a problem.

I've said before and I'll say it again, "The man who invents a way to [edited]slap people over the internet will be the fastest billionaire in history".

I've always said that the one bad thing about the internet is that it gave people without a backbone a security blanket to act in way they would be too scared to do so in person.

Yeah...

Honestly, Bourbon; it would be one thing if they'd sent the opening PM, but the fact that you did makes it kind of childish. I won't lie, that's the kind of thing that I myself usually respond to by simply blacklisting the player who sent it and considering them persona non grata if the blacklist-ignoring MM ever puts us on the same team in the future...

I have learned much from many of the OP's insights, info-sharing, and comments in his posts. I learned something new in this thread.

Having a set of dog tags jammed on my screen in battle by some dopey WG developer's decision is bad enough, but getting an unprovoked post-battle in-your-face message intentionally sent by a fellow commander is just, well, not very cool, nor is it something that I would boast-post about.

No screenshots/replays from either alleged party?

Cool story bros... in the future why don't you keep it in private chat so the rest of us don't have to read your stories?
