So I am trying to figure out why my play in the 48 Patton is so bad.  I have a 47% win rate in the Pershing, and a 40% in the 46 Patton, although it has been much better of late.  My Centurion 7/1 which was researched around the same time is at 46-47%.  My 48 Patton is currently 33% and dropping fast.  For the life of me I cannot figure out what to do different.  It seems that we are 3 minutes into the match and half my team is already dead, putting us in a position that we just can't win.  What is going on?

The M48 is notoriously difficult to play, despite it being something of an all-rounder. Because the tank is a bit slow, taking strong positions early in the game becomes especially important. I suggest you learn about and memorize all of the strong ridgeline positions, which can help you create much better angles on many maps. Separately, I also suggest you spend some time messing around in a training room on a map with lots of ridgelines (e.g. Murovanka, Sand River, Westfield) to get a better feel for the gun depression and figure out hulldown positions, two of the biggest strengths of the M48. Finally, if possible practice snap shots (tbh I don't really know how), as they are mostly where the M48's firepower comes from.

On the other hand, don't worry about your winrate. 33% means that some of your losses were due to pure bad luck, so with time that number will rise.

You've got about 150 battles in the tank. It might be how you're playing the tank or it's just not the right tank for you.

None of us can really help guide you on how to improve without replays of your games(good balance of bad and good battles).

Got only 37battles so far but I am too only at 35%wr,  It is a difficult tank to play.  the armor can let you down if you dont know what ur doing.
