I saw this after a battle, looking at other player's records. This is the entire soviet line of one player and I don't understand how it's possible  to have a tier 6, 7 and 10 tank with nothing leading up to or in between on the soviet line. They also have tier 10s in other lines without going up the line to get there.

Can a person do a re-roll and then gift their re-roll account some tanks? This player also gets Top Gun in 10% of the games played, which is the highest percentage I've ever seen. Just curious.

Probably sold the tanks he did not want for the credits, and kept the ones he liked. To the best of my knowledge a re-roll starts from scratch, no gifting of tanks from old account.

Yes, you can gift a re-roll account tanks that you buy in the premium shop. Also, some of those tanks may have come with a new account code.

I think that's it. I was thinking that all past tanks stayed in the Service Record but I see now that's not the case. I sold a tank and it disappeared from my SR. I was accustomed to looking at wotlabs.net and all tanks stay in that record. I see that the player has had the lower tier tanks in the line.

But another weird thing popped up. The in-game SR for the player shows less than 2000 battles, which matches the TOTAL battles listed in wotlabs. But if you add up the battles in all the tanks listed on wotlabs, it comes out to more like 10K battles. Another mystery.

I found out it was a mistaken assumption on my part. I thought all tanks ever owned showed up in the Service Record. Turns out they go away if the tanks are sold, which was probably the case.

They do not go away. Tanks don't disappear from the service record unless the account was reset.

Not sure why you blacked out the battle counts, but you can play hundreds of battles in low tier premiums then convert the xp off with free xp to get a tier ten if you want.

The processes means you skip all the other tanks in the line.

What you are doing, is only looking at Random Battles... while on the Service Record screen, click on "VEHICLES" and then, in the dropdown menu, "Skirmishes" (and in turn all other types of battles listed) in order to see actually ALL battles ACTUALLY played (except Frontlines, Tournaments and Events are not recorded anywhere).

I just checked both the "WoT Player Statistics" and "WoTLabs" websites for a specific tank that I know I've sold (sold it for Credits to get one of the tanks from the Black Market). It shows up in both.

So, how did you discover that they 'go away' if they are sold?

Per Cynical Dutchie - reset.

https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wot/article/10184/

Just some of the info in the link.

If you would like to reset your game account, the following will be erased:

  • All purchases done with credits (tech tree vehicles, modules, etc).
  • All research performed in the Tech tree.
  • All the statistical data of the account (Kill ratio, damage ratio, etc).

I know in my own account you can choose to view the record of just the tanks currently in your garage or choose to view every tank you have played. Perhaps the same is true when looking at the accounts of others?

Any tank shows up.on the service record under the given search parameters. If you grind up in skirms and tournaments, then you have to select those tabs in the service record to see them played within that given game mode. This is how people can appear to have zero battles but ha e tier 10s. Skirm crews and free exp to rush up lines and avoid pubs.

Neither Tournaments, nor Frontlines, nor Events battles show up in the Service Record, but several modes other than Random Battles are there, you just have to select them via "VEHICLES" and the modes dropdown menu.
