Honestly? My first thought was 'Arty, Wheelies, now double-gunners; something new for the haters to hater...'

 

Personally, though, I think they'll be interesting to try since there's three fire types, different people will prefer different ones, and players used to heavy tanks (and I'm guessing doubles will be heavies here) having a relatively low rate of fire will have to adapt to something new both playing as and fighting against them.

I would expect this type of action from their competitor "fart thunder'. Just saying

Are they going to be realistic? Adding a second barrel, will add several tons to the overall weight of the tank. This should cause some negative effects to the speed and handling of a tank. Although they have a second barrel, they are still limited on the number of rounds they can carry. Will this be taken into account, or will this be more BS? 
Only time will tell.

Well the thing is, having 2 guns of different calibers & on separate mounts both be player controlled is more complicated than just letting the player use a pair of identical side-by-side guns that use the same set of ammo. I do look forward to such a thing being added (the Lee would become amazing with that function) but these double-barrel tanks are surely easier to program. Even World of Warships that was designed from the start to handle multiple turrets still doesn't have any function for controlling guns of two different calibers at once. WOT would probably need fairly significant changes in the game engine to do it.

It's an interesting mechanic, but I'd like to see more examples of non-Soviet vehicles with double guns. (excluding MTLS) I'm hoping this mechanic goes into a tech tree line and not wasted on one premium tank.

Germany had a couple of double barrelled TDs, so I'd expect them to be added at some point.

Why not make the tanks already in the game that have multiple guns, capable of switching modes to fire them?

Why not load whatever shell type into whatever gun?

Why not have a machine gun mode for shooting at the tires of wheelies?

 

The other thought is why not consider adjusting to 12 battle tiers, where some of the later and theoretical tanks move up? (Yes, I know, it would take a lot of sorting out, but it could also start the progression of WoT into other war eras, instead of jumbling them together so much.)

 

I've always wanted something like 20 tiers so they could easily have WW1 era to modern day AFVs in the game.

Just further mess up balance. Tanks that are horrible now will be double secret horrible. Should seriously just get rid of Germany as a nation, maybe others too. World of Russian Tanks. Dumb.

this is a f joke, why not start making tier 11 and 12 tanks, buff all the german lines, and get rid of the bs over sized commanders hatches on all american tanks. get rid of prem ammo, but wg only does there own thing and not listen to the players.

I never played Civ4-5, but Civ6 is fun, though it becomes monotonous at times.

I literally can't wait for these things to come out. It looks like a great mechanic to add to the game. Its no more op than any auto loader and its something new.
