Because it is already "working as intended", at least for the one who configured this month's tank rewards but of course not for the ones who actually play.

Jambijon said they saw they messed up, that team was notified and that it should be fixed soon. I guess it won't ever be fixed...

Because Goldilocks is now working at WGNA.  Last month's rewards were "too easy", this month's are "too hard".  Maybe next months' will be "just right"...   ;)

I haven't really been paying attention.  Other than too hard to earn and not worth the effort, what is broken?

It sucks.  The medium tank and TD challenges are fine.  But the blocking and the spotting can take a long time depending on circumstances. When you are starting with 8 games to get the full daily if everything goes right, the amount of time required is silly given the rewards.  It makes me sad.

WG might get the message after they see a significant drop in points earned by the community. It's not the end of the world if you miss one month of freebies.

I chose to try the lower tier Heavy Tank blocking mission, that also requires you to damage an enemy Heavy Tank 2x.

 

I was the only heavy in the battle.  Try getting that mission done under THOSE conditions!

LT's - There's usually 2+ (sometimes 5-7) lights in one game. You easily get outspotted, even by mediums or get spotted while spotting and mission failed. Also maps.

MT's - Fairly easy, can take some time if people steal kills (and they do).

TD's - Damage is fine, surviving isn't. Often team melts and even if you had time to do damage, you get killed in 3-15 blowout and mission failed, ofc.

HT's - Sometimes you're the only heavy, sometimes there's 2 heavies and they decide to be noobs and go wrong way and get killed by someone else before you even damage them. And APCR/HEAT/HE makes blocking often nothing but a wishful thinking.

 

It would be okay if WG put like 2000  points for the last stage reward, but 3000 is just plain absurd.

And also tier IX and X tanks needed... *claps*

They screwed it up too badly to fix.  For some reason they hotfix things like the Homefront crews glitching the garage...but not tankrewards being calculated with bad 3rd grade math.  I would wager that more people are suffering from tankrewards being a toxic turd than people are were glitching homefront, but hell...why break the streak of being right about things that wargaming has bungled and refuses to fix?

Really it's about time and money. The beauty with TR is that previous months had fairly easy missions that had you playing a variety and it worked to push you to have a slightly longer session getting more time out of you.

 

When you look at the rewards you got XP boosters and blueprint fragments, both of which help you progress quickly, but don't help with the credits needed (New to mid progression accounts constantly have a problem where you progress faster now than you earn credits.) Having extra garage slots promotes going down more lines and/or owning more tanks. Having mid tier premiums and/or premium time can dip your toes into having them and may convince you they are nice to have.

 

Making it ridiculously hard doesn't really help them at all. I have no doubt the community team sees the flop coming and that is why they push the complaints straight to the person running it and were trying to get it changed before it fails. In the end the data showing missions completed, tokens earned, and rewards claimed, they will all reflect a large downturn.

Cabbage said on stream today they may credit everyone some stuff for Tank Rewards. I don’t recall if he said when or what just that they may do something.

they MAY do something.dont RELY on that. the monetization guys will fight hard to prevent any compensation.

Yeah they have a hard time getting things through corporate.  We're only getting the usual 3 extra codes for the September Scavenger Hunt even though they shorted us a day because corporate set up a 31 daily code requirement for a month that only has 30 days...:sceptic:

Just went and looked and the amounts needed to hit each tier have not been adjusted. So I'm guessing they won't be. I'm 95 points short of completing the first tier.
