I don't understand why all the hate for the map. Sure it have some up and down which can be fix later. But it a nice change of pace from playing Normandy for the last 9 months

The new map, like all things, could benefit from tweaks....I SUPPOSE.

I think this map is FANTASTIC.  It is probably the best map in the game at this point.  The terrain variety allows EVERY class to work to it's full potential. Now WG needs to do a desert map!

While I didn't like it at first it has grown on me. I do think it needs some tweaking though. For example A is way to easy to cap, much like B is to easy on the original.

Agree 100% ! There are so many options and areas to exploit defending or attacking. It's as close to perfect as I've seen.... IMO

I love the new map.  It took me a few matches to figure out spots to go and shoot from and what not, but that is a normal learning curve.  In the end i prefer this map over Normandie any day.

Most will jump on the salt wagon if they don't do well in their first couple games.  I'm actually pretty bad on it right now, but I just haven't figured out the map yet.  I really like the contrast of the two maps however.

It just takes people to get used to it and where to camp, but all in all it's a good map lots of terrain to cover

I hated it with a passion at first.    It favours a completely different style than the first map.

It's got a few bugs here and there. it favours fast moving, and paying attention to what your own team is doing far more than the first map.  Overall it's pretty good once one gets a bit of a grasp on what is going on.

The attackers in Zone B spawn right on top of the base to cap.  They end up capping before the defenders even get there.  All start spawns need to be equal distant from the base.

How long do you think it is going to take for the average player to figure out that 3 or 4 people chasing an even-90 all over behind lines just makes that even-90 one of the most effective players on defense by taking 3 or 4 tanks out of the battle on a continuing basis?     hilarious to watch that many people trying to catch some little fast tank all the way from A to C, and never manage to get  him.

I haven't really figured it out either, even though I've gotten it 4 out of 5 matches. It does seem to have minimal places for tracked light tanks to play the vision game, which is something I liked a lot about the original. Wheelies gotta wheelie I suppose.

Agreed, like anything new, TRULY new and different, it was confusing as all get-out at first.  It is a nice contrast to Normadie...but it is the combination of terrain and moderately realistic elements  that make this map really click. It isn't so much contrast, but rather night and day differences here that i'm seeing.

Oh yes, i like how you think...WG could  REALLY up the ante with a sandstorm that TOTALLY knocks your individual tank vision down to..oh, 20 yards or so (ok, maybe 50). Nothing to see, add in radio...just static sound and howling wind.  Disable the compass function.  Add in a combination features that are and are NOT destructable so you CANNOT zip through it.  OR....just have the sandstorm move thru the map randomly...rippling thru.  Would be awesome.

No map is perfect I think the new is very good. It helps break up the grind and it’s nice being able to play more than the same map every game. I don’t see any advantage to either side. Well done.

Playing the zone/sector edges for cross fire works out well for lights, meds, and some tds.  Both on Defense and Offense.   Lots of positions to learn.  Only suggestion is to thin out the initial defensive buildings slightly.  Otherwise it's quite enjoyable.
