In the attached replay, a Kv2 sits behind cap somewhere, no one on our team could spot him, and he one shots everybody up to 7 kills.  WITHOUT ever being spotted.  he had mediums, heavies, tds and arties try to spot him.  Why would anyone want to play a game where a tank can repeatedly fire without being spotted? Unless your that tank.  Its how maybe he got his 9000 rating?   Camo mods? the WOT program everybody is talking about that gives unfair advantages?  I am not great at this game, but why play when you have no way of winning other than to rush him all at the same time.... and since its a pub, nobody will help or listen....

Ahhhh guess Im not aloowed to post a replay..... WOT doesnt want everyone to see hwats going on....

Game mechanics are a hell of a thing.

wotreplays.net

There are NO mods that alter how the game works. IE: There are NO HACKS!.

Lastly, read this:

Well, the forum isn't a file server so the attachment size limit is quite small, not uncommon, upload it to wotreplays.com and then link it back

There is a small possibility that the invisibility bug has reared its ugly head. But without a replay I'm definitely going to err on the side of a team of muppets got taken out by a lone KV-2. Probably, literally, the saddest thing I have ever heard of.

It's been a long time since I've heard a credible account of the invisibility bug. **If** this is the invisibility bug.

The KV-2 has lousy camo ratings, especially when it fires. If a team can't spot a KV-2 then either they're playing very poorly or the KV-2 player is good at using his team for spotting and knowing the range at which he can be spotted ( this is more commonly know as "playing skillfully" ). There's nothing wrong with the spotting mechanics, there are just people who don't understand spotting.

And, there is no program that can prevent someone from being spotted, that's not a thing, it's a myth.

That has always been true, which is why you have to upload the replay to one of the replay web sites and then post the link here.

If you do that, then there are plenty of people who will be happy to help you understand what happened in that battle, but without a replay there's nothing we can do for you.

His 9K rating shows that he understands spotting mechanics and knows how to take advantage of them.

Your 5K rating after 19K games, coupled with this post, shows that you don't.

It isn't a hack, those don't exist. Also, mods wont get you a 9k PR. That takes skill.

WG bans people for illegal mods. Mods are not hacks that allow you to do something like shoot though rock or remain invisible. Hacks like that do not exist on a server side game.

But even if using illegal mods, you wont get a 9K PR w/o considerable skill and understanding of the game mechanics. No mod can make up for skill, and no mods will make a 4K PR player a 9K PR player.

I'm convinced based on the recent teams I've seen... it was one "decent" player KV-2 against a group of inexperienced players who knew nothing of game mechanics.

I could be wrong.

I would say that is the players fault. Not communicating and KUNG FU fighting(one at a time).  Then part is on WOT for making maps were most likely everyone came up same route because the maps are so linear corridor funneling based no real options for flanking. unless your running though a deadmans field Then back to KUNG FU fighting. Then communication not timing shots going on reload and not after he is loaded. That is seriously WOT's one and only problem with the game "MAP MAKING". Its never been arty never been match making.  Better maps would solve 90% of this games problem.

After being a los time and having many battles in this game, I can say with certainty that there is nothing random in this game, everithing is already pre-designed by the MM, no matter what you do, The MM already chose, even before starting the game, who is going to win.

From the formation of the team, it is so obvious that it is pre-thought who will win.

The writers should be a little more careful and not be so obvious

I can say with certainty that you have no idea what you're talking about.
