We just made a separate post for "looking for a team". Check it out here:

Man, 5EST on a Saturday is early.  I think this tournament would be a blast but just no way to pull off the time constraints.

Will prizes be sent anywhere in the world?

INEQUALITY OF CONDITIONS

Serious problem in the new game mode: "The Great Race"
The Mechanics "Auto aim" has a serious difference depending on the latency / ping. Being more effective to players with low latency, returning to the new game mode uneven and not adapted to the same conditions.
This being a very conflictive problem for the next competition: "Tank Grand Prix"

What if you already have the LT-432 (hypothetically speaking if I win)?

So I guess I missed the Great Race sign up which had to be done by Monday the 23rd?  But the Grand Prix is still going but we need to be on a team to play it?  Can't we just join and race like the last time?

So you have to register and join a team that plays at specific times? Wow what happened to a casual game that players could just have fun at? I just wanted to try the race mode. I don't care about prizes or ranks or anything like that. Heck if you want to hand out participation prizes how about 1,000 credits per race? Or something? I rarely play these days, with work and RL in general. Heard about the race mode so I thought I would give it a try, but once again WG could screw up a train wreck and they did.

There is a race mode using special tanks, that is ongoing right now.  Just click on the tanks in your garage and hit battle.

The link for that is: https://worldoftanks...ce-regulations/

The thing being talked about here is a Tournament, these are always at specific dates and times.

You know, it would be great if there were a filter for the sign up page that let you see which teams don't need a password to join. Would save a lot of time for single players looking for a team.

This is being played with the racing tanks, so you don't even need to have anything aside from a WOT account.

Compensation will be credited for players who already have the LT-432 tank.

As mentioned in a post above, the tournament will be played on special racing tanks.

If you're from EU or have ping higher than 150, just don't enter the tourney and save yourself some trouble.

I'm constantly being hit by everyone and losing +50% of my HP, whether I'm first or last, while my gun misses everyone on autoaim. Literally had games where I had 0 dmg until the finish line when enemies were lined up behind/in front of me and I was shooting only straight. Driving and shooting on +80 ping imo is a waste of time and you're predetermined not to win this tourney.

Same goes with the Overdrive activation. If your ping is higher, there's a delay in activation.

Save yourselves some trouble if you're in the same situation as me and just say "I'll pass" and play random battles/clan battles/random tank races.

Hold up a minute. First place doesn't get the headset? Why the hell not?

So it looks like WG set up the SE bracket for Sunday night already. I didn't expect much from WG of course in regards to being able to manage tournaments, but nonetheless am I stupid for thinking that the first place teams in the round robins should've been prioritized for getting byes? Because they weren't. Looks like WG just hooked up the rng machine to the team list to determine placement. Sloppy, lazy, and a bit unfair.
