Based on what is posted on the WoT News, it doesn't seem like there will be any special event mode for Halloween.

 

While last year's (Booger Collection) was somewhat disappointing, 2017's Leviathan Hunt was a TON of fun especially with the tanks provided. If the Booger Collection can be reworked a bit and made much more plausible to ascend the tiers for free, then I (and I'm sure some other players) would enjoy it.

 

Yes, Tank Races will be wrapping up as well as the Tank Festival. How long will we have to wait until another special mode comes out? Frontline doesn't count because it occurs on a regular basis.

There will be a Halloween mode, but no official announcement yet (no spoilers). Obviously it will start after the festival ends. My guess is it will start either around the 11th or 18th.

 

Edit: concerning "special modes", there isn't a ton of opportunity left since through the first week of October is booked, and the Halloween event will take up the balance of the month really. Mid-December on is the Holiday event. That leaves November and the first half of December open. They have two episodes of ranked to cram in that time frame and if they don't want overlap with other events, it doesn't leave much, but I'm sure they will squeak in something unless they run Halloween long.

I had teams in both modes and again in the current race mode that were too busy playing "what's in that hole on my body" to be useful.... it's  consistently random^tm #rng.....
