KV-85. 122mm worth it?

The slightly higher pen and much higher alpha don't seem to make up for the slow reload and much lower DPM compared to the 100mm gun. Which is the best for this tank? I'm thinking of taking the 100mm and forgetting the 122. Even derping HE doesn't seem to weigh in it's favor.

The 100mm is tops.

 

I have all 3 of the Soviet Tier XI heavies...KV-2, T-150 & KV-85.  While the KV-85 is my least favorite of the 3, the 100mm gun is my favorite gun of all.  That is saying a lot since the 152mm derp and the 108 on the T-150 are exceptional.

Tier VI ;) unless you know something we don't :teethhappy:

 

The thing that really hampers the KV-85 is the lack of gun depression, but yes the 100 is probably the way to go.

Tier 6 : American tank 76mm

            German Tank 88mm

             British tank 77mm

             Russian tank 85, 100, 108, 122 or 152
