It can't hurt for the one game in 50 where you actually benefit from it even though you had no idea that enemy might have spotted you if your tank was nekkid.

I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I don't often snipe with the T30, it's pretty horrible at it, so I don't really need it just for the T30 but I wanted a crew to play the Scorpion or T78 which really rely on having it. My T30 crew is pretty good now though, have all the important skills other than my driver who is lacking but I don't think any of the driver skills are going to make much of a difference anyway.

If you've got camo's or styles that can be moved from one tank to the next there isn't any reason not to use it...

I think it is called "concealment" for a skill/perk. Camouflage is the stuff ya put on yer tank...

I have researched every tank in this game, 70K+ battles, 54+% win rate so take my advice if you want it…

If you have the money, buy camo. In the long run, and you may not even notice, you will be spotted just a little less than normal.

For lights and TDs, always camo, at least with credits rental

For Med and heavy, camo for style, but those that are not frontline will benefit more

But, i would love "hide your camo" function, the way you can show your tank in basic color or custom color, keeping the camo but not showing it

Except for the gunner whose head is between the knees of the commander.  Just saying.

I put camo only on the tanks I intend to keep. Camo, I find, also tends not to be so valuable on really big tanks that are difficult to hide. Super heavies are impossible to hide no matter how much you boost the camo rating. They will never stay hidden for very long like a LT or TD might. I put camo on a O-I exp once and it raised the camo from something like 9 to 16, IIRC, and that 7 points of additional camo isn't going to protect you from being spotted. Even with that, a full camo crew and a camo net, vents and food you're not going to be able to hide a 100 ton tank. You'll probably struggle just to get your camo rating up to 100 in any super heavy, and that wouldn't be enough to hide an Even 90. If you're going to be spotted just as quickly either with or without it, then it's a waste to have it at all unless you just want it for the aesthetic value.

Really depends on who the gunner and commander are.

Maybe I need to get my wife to role play this out. lol

He's talking about the skill, not paint. Unless he plans on painting 'his guys'.

Always paint your tank, why gimp yourself for a few silver if anything at all?

I wouldn't use camo on a T30. In my opinion there are much more useful skills, but that's because I literally just see the T30 as a heavy tank, if you use it as a TD then sure, keep it.

Late game, when the battlefield has only a few "eyes" left, camo can make a big difference as to who spots first.
