I received a Unique Commander as part of a Twitch package, Alex "The Hunter Duke", and put him in a T-3485.  Now I would like to move him into a different tank from a different country, but I don't want him to loose the directives he has and have his training level drop to less than 100%.  Can I do this and have him keep all that he has?

Thanks

Once you pick a nation he's stuck to that nation as there is no way to retrain a crew member between nations.

Since they are in the works of doing the multi nation thing with tanks. They should consider an option to move crew members. Call them defectors or buy immigration papers to move them.

Top Clan players will love this idea with all their resources the average player never gets.

... a stock or supply of money (bonds and gold), materials (clan war reward tanks and the Obj 279e), staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively.

They are called mercenaries.

As long as WG charges gold to move them, it would be a win win for them and their players.

They could limit the number of times an account can do this per year like the old exceptions rule on recovery of sold Prem tanks.

Mercenaries fight for money. Changing allegiance to a new country would require money to WoT....would that make them mercenary brokers? Possibly another item to sell in the Black Market? Get your red hot mercenary papers here, limited time frame one per account.

Short answer - NO.

OP since he's unique you can't change his postion.  And currently you can't change any crew member's nation.

His nation and position is hard set meaning you can't change either including if you spend 500 gold to re-train his position.  That works on most crew, but not unique ones.  If you noticed when you picked his nation, class and tank there was/is no choice to select crew position.

What you CAN do.

Retrain him to a tank of the SAME nation and ANY class for gold.  He will lose nothing.  Crew training/retraining sale on the 10th, so if you use gold wait.

Retrain him to silver to a tank of the SAME nation and SAME CLASS which will put him at 90 base and not lose anything on the secondary skills/perks.  These will still function.  The only downside is he will only gain xp on his base/core skill till it gets back to 100 percent.  Once at 100 base he will gain xp on his secondary skills/perks.  It is relatively quick and easy to get a base skill from 90 to 100.  I've got plenty of gold left from loot boxes, but this is still what I generally do when I retrain a crew to a tank of the same class mainly out of principle aka wallet closed for the most part.

Retraining him for silver to ANOTHER class puts him at 75-80 percent.

Retraining him for free loses even more base percentage.

This is actually a good idea. Just make the "immigration papers" cost gold and Wargaming can make some cash and players can move around tank crews.
