Is this only available for new accounts?  I verified yesterday and have not received anything.  Been playing WOT for years now.

Is this only for WoT?  Nothing to do with Mercenaries?  I'm curious.

id.me I think is safe.  It appears the unofficial official site where your military service can be verified (I served in the United States Marine Corps and then transferred to State Army National Guard so I could go to either Army Officer School or the Start Army National Guard, so I am a true blooded Marine who went to the USMC Recruit Depot in San Diego (aka Camp Snoopy or Hollywood) took a drop (just kidding) to the Army then add on National Guard.  I came down with some illness that would get worse over time and cause me not to be able to get my commission not even a State National Guard one (I am leaving state out for privacy reasons, so this wasn't a militia group in the USA)

I looked into them and they do appear to be legit but what I found curious is they couldn't locate my military records circa 80-90's (once again for privacy) however they had no trouble finding one of my parents records that predate mine.

McDonalds public serving and Military Service aren't comparable at ALL.  Well now you can be shot anywhere but your more likely to be shot at is the Military and it isn't paintballs or a milk shake like someone working at drive thru and the military pays less per hour than the minimum wage of Federal workers only because they military includes providing shelter and 3 meals a day into your total pay along with clothing allowance (military clothing).  So you have no basis to compare to.

Police officers, my guess is either your personal safety is involved and hence why they don't have any police benefit (also since police departments don't use all standardize forms from all the locations around all 50 states it can become difficult to know what form to check and ID's well once again unless you have the knowledge of each and every city/town/village police ID, then how can your verify, short of calling that locations PD which would simply be too expensive as would be for Firefighters and Paramedics.  I wish they could find a way but I don't think they will for now.

In terms of nurses, care takers, same problems as PD.

What about those who work for the Federal Government, well that isn't going above and beyond any other job.  CIA agent, well you can't reveal you are nor any special black project for any branch of government.

So for WoT they picked the easiest one that would cause them the least amount of money and possibly the most politically correct or those who are not involved in controversy inside the US (yes the military does have issues but it is different than some who have issues with the PD, Fire, Medical, Fed Govt Employee, elected officials and so on).

Please don't give the President any sort of special items.  Sorry had to put that in.  He might buy the rights to the battlefields and he adds them to his real estate properties he owns.

I did the I'd.me however I'm fairly certain it has no effect on those who play console.

So for the veterans reward program, does this apply to military personnel actively serving and if so how long do you have to be in service IOT to be approved for the benefits?

Day 1 should be good enough. Once you’re in the Army system and have paperwork to show for it.

Assuming it verified correctly (check in your account management screen), your goodies should show up after logging out and in again.

Hey question Y'all,

On id.me I can verify my status as a military family member through USAA, however when I try to link my id.me account with my wargaming account it doesn't see that I am already verified and verifying through USAA isn't an option anymore. Are you supposed to be able to verify through usaa for this or is it only with the explicitly military verification?

Here is a screenshot of the options I have when I try to verify https://imgur.com/E2c0XGu

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought you could verify through USAA

I got screwed out of serving in any military branch because my hearing is wasted in the upper range. The cause was a birth defect. My dad made it into boot camp before his hearing was noticed I feel like I was kept from joining the best America had.  I worked in Brook field rebuilding the barracks. I worked with a bricklayer company. Also, we did some work on the outside some old monasteries. I was not allowed to serve on the front line but I did everything I could. And I still do. Is there any way I can claim Tank Reward??

TXTANK- James Cannon. jcannon3568@att.net.   Thank You!!

Groan. :medal:

Why havn't U addressed/responded to the other doz or more of us that jumped thru your hoops & GOT NOTHING? :sceptic:

Guess ya'll handle this "reward" like so many other things (MM, RNG, dead-on shots that miss) in WofT... very selectively.   How do you scammers, oops, employees sleep at night?

Or do U get your jollies by jerking PAYING customers around? :child:   Or perhaps in this case, some sort of pee-pee envy because you've never served your country? :hiding:

That's not how IDme works lol, been using it for years. They never asked for my DD214 or social when I registered, your service dates, DOB, and city you enlisted from and branch of service are all you needed. It's a VA partner site so it's legit.

Name, DOB and SSN are the items on the id.me site verification now.....

I used USAA with no problem. However, if you are not the actual military member or veteran that is the basis of the account, being a family member does not qualify you. If you are also in the military currently or a veteran set up your own USAA account based on YOUR military service.

Just got verified through ID.Me but didn't receive any notifications on the game side, i've logged out and logged back into my WG account / loaded the game and nothing shown up? could it be possible that the Id.Me didn't link with my WG account?

So I logged in and verified with ID.me on the website and says "Military status verified as Service Member." yet nothing shows up on the game itself. Wondering if anyone else has this issue or it takes a while to load.

DD214 has our SSN's on it. Not sure if this is a smart move. Lots of data given up.  What do you think? Is this a safe thing to do?

ID.me is separate from World of Tanks, so WOT's is not able to draw your DD214 or SSN. ID.me is the one that holds your data. Hope this helps.

Chieftain,

It says that there will be something new come Jan 1st. Do you know if we bought this bundle if we will be able to get the next one too?
