Since the update I've had stuttering that is nearly unplayable. Like mini, constant lag spikes almost, you know? As in, say, while I'm moving forward, I skip and stutter a micro second at a time. Really hard to describe. Again, like lag spikes, but every second or two for a micro second.

My FPS is 150-300 and my ping is 70-100, which is normal. I've never had it this bad.

I've changed nothing since the update and tried restarting my computer and all the little tricks here and there.

Any suggestions?

How old is your graphics card?  You may need to replace the thermal paste as your cards processor may be slightly overheating and it can cause that.

I had thought about that, but would one day make such a difference? It was working yesterday just fine.

The question isn't about yesterday and today, the question is about before the update and after the update.

So, did things run find after the update, and then at a later time start having problems? or Did you start having problems immediately after the update?

May want to see if your driver or video card needs to update drivers.

First - Thanks everybody for your responses. I appreciate the willingness to help me out.

I'm a doofus. This was a case of me asking before I truly tried to figure out the issue.

My computer was trying to update like three different games at the same time, all while I was playing tanks. This issue is no longer.

Again, thanks.
