Could you guys fix tanks being able to spot others around corners, through buildings, mountains, and any other such object that only Superman can see trough. The interesting part is you can't see things sitting in a bush shooting at you from 10' away. I really need an "Anti Bullsht" perk for my crew.

The dumpster fire has been lit. Now lets see what kind of critters it attracts.

What do mean? Proxy spotting, can be done in this matter. Is that what you are complaining about?

If it is something else, I'm not aware of this, so can you please explain to me what exactly is happening to you?

Or maybe you should just spend a little bit of time studying the spotting mechanics of the game because you are making a fool of yourself right now.

30k+ battles... how do you not know how spotting mechanics work?

leaving the bush shooting out -- what he means is with all the detail WOT puts into game you would think that "line of sight" would be part of the game instead of the lazy "proximity" crap

Tanks aren't very quiet and if you get within a certain distance of one you know it.

No you won't know what position their turret is in, but you also don't have a camera mounted thirty feet above and behind you.

Line of sight is taken into consideration if you check out the video above, but not withing 50M.

If you are concerned with the "simulation" realism of spotting just stop.

I could see a tank from miles away (several times the max view range) and If I was looking at one through a gun scope or binoculars even further.  It is a GAME mechanic and not a physical reality.

If it makes you feel better you could consider the proxy spot range as the point a commander would hear the enemy tank over their own tanks noise.

KRZYBooP is so on-point.

Watching that training video (found on that opening game portal page thingy) last week has already helped me.

There is a  follow up video regarding tank camo/concealment characteristics coming soon.
