When are they going to allow us to exclude Frontline maps as well?  Wargaming has ruined this game to the point that the only fun part left was Frontline.  This new map is completely broken though and so now Frontline isn't even fun half the time...

Only played 4 games on it, seems OK, like it better than the old one but maybe just because it's new. Only issues I have with it is I lag a bit on it and zone A is way way too easy to capture.

They new map is awesome if you enjoy playing tanks with mobility and accurate guns.... but yeah its a bit rough in a slow heavy bogged in the snow.

I like the original map more than I used to now simply because I don't have to play on it all the time.

The only thing I've not liked about his episode is the lag spikes... and influx of players who have never played Frontline before in try-hard mode thinking they are gonna get "muh free tonk"

I'm enjoying the new map. Only issue is the defenders have a pretty easy time of it once the attackers have to actually take out guns at the end game.

I have played it probably 10-12 times this week and the defenders have won all but one of them.

Fortunately, winning is irrelevant in FL.

There are exactly TWO FL maps.

The odds of WG allowing players to exclude 50% of the FL maps is exactly zero.

Incidentally, it isn't "broken"-it's just new. As we know, they tweaked it since the last episode so it is still a work in progress subject to further tweaking. IMO, the map plays just fine. You win some and you lose some. Just how "broken" the map appears seems to me to be based on how people play it. If one side goes heavy on Wheelie's early, it's an instant sh1t show. The same can happen with an excessive number of Defenders simply devouring caps (though at least you can shoot them and penetrate sometimes...). If there is a nice cross-section of tanks types and people actually engage in combat, it's a good time.

Same thing applies regardless of the map.

New map is trash. There is far too much no mans land with wide open spaces. Some caps can only really be pushed from one direction because of either that or the corridor like structures and mountains. The map as a result ends up less dynamic with matches far less interesting.

I agree, it is much easier on the winter maps for attackers to capture zones and much harder for them take out the final objectives than the other map. As an arty player I am still learning the map and finding decent positions to fire from. But the same problem existed for the original map too till more experience was gained. What's "better" in the winter map is that I usually run out of ammo defending the final objectives in arty,  but I also usually have enough time to suicide and get in another vehicle and get some decent additional dmg.  Pretty much have it down how to play the original map in arty, stay covered, and keep ammo resupplied.  I don't like the new map because it forces a new learning curve, but I can understand the appeal of something different to weather the long FL grind.

Maybe I have just been unlucky but I have got this map 8 out of 9 games this week. I am just grinding credits and using the free boosters to get the extra credits and free stuff when you tier up. Learning a new map sucks because I have not played since they put it in and everybody but me knows the map. I am not making anywhere near the same credits I made off the old map because I do not know where to go half the time. Oh well, maybe it is for the best so that next year I will know the map a little better and might have the time to play enough to get a free tank.

Aren't they fixing/adjusting it? or is that not until a later episode?

They made some minor tweaks but nothing substantial that really changes the way the map is played.

Just for the record - I'm happy with it.

Win or lose, the finishes are more often than not, nail-biting affairs which is what FL is all about.

The Kraftwerk map, the new FL map, is basically fine. Will it need tweaks?  Most certainly, nothing is perfect especially when first presented. Thoughtful commentary such as Guido1212 recently posted in a YouTube is actually helpful, the OP's comments are not.  What this map MOSTLY is, is different and that's the very best thing about it.

What is it with people that they hit something the don't understand, don't like and then declare EVERYTHING is BROKEN, it's TERRIBLE, and ask "WHEN OH WHEN WILL THEY FIX IT?"....and then usually don't think the game is fun, that they aren't going to play...yadda yadda yadda.  How on earth does anyone expect to be taken seriously with tantrums like these?

Kraftwork > Normandy. That is all.

I guess I'm in the minority because I like the map and strangely enough there was no server freezing or aiming bug either last night.Im not a fan of the other map never was I always spawned at zone C so this map is a welcome addition.I just play for XP I could care less win or lose or how many credits I spend so if I lost every time it's more fun than winning on that wretched first map.

Funny how everyone has their preferences. I love defending C on the old map.

As far as the new map, it's like any map. We have to learn it better. When people say "git gud"

the biggest way to do it is learn the maps. Like they say, patience is a virtue.

I like both of the FL maps... but if I had to choose only 1 to play, it would be the winter one.

attacking(team) seems to be at a disadvantage in my opinion.. Think I've lost 80%(if not 90%) of the games when attacking, but it's all about the ranks.. :hiding:

It feels like the chance of drawing Normandy is less than 50%...we'd need a large survey to confirm, but I have yet to see Normandy after a half dozen matches and a comment above mentioned seeing it once out of 9ish matches.

I got Normandy 4 straight before getting Klondike once, then back to Normandy again.
It's like it's random or something  !

I drew Normandy three times in a row, and quit playing FL right after. I [edited]hate that map.
