I think this could be a very good idea to give players who learn the game later on after a couple thousand battles a chance to show how good they have gotten. Each season is reset annually and is archived so you can see how well you did in the years before or "previous seasons". What do you guys think?

They currently have monthly stats under service record, achievements in random battles.

That's why we already have "Recent" stats. There's no need for seasons, Recent is always the most current for any player.

I'm not sure what you're asking for but i like the daily stats we've got now

I use Aslain's session stats, it's either daily or I can reset each session and review it that way. Haven't used the vanilla stats but I'd hope they have a reset button so you could do the same.

 

If it's just "recent" and shows an entire month, that's kinda pointless since I would want to know how many credits I made in that session.

wot labs and other sites have recent statistics there’s no need for this. Iirc we already have a version of this anyways, monthly leaderboard for specific tanks and overall stats.
