So, since this is now mandatory, I figured I would post a how to for it.

How to access game settings
Check and Repair
Uninstall the game
Launcher settings
Ending all background process's when you close the main window
Download updates in advance
Resource usage when updating (recommended to keep this checked)
Windows startup
Auto update settings (You can schedule things)
Turn off auto login
Import Games
Turn off seeding

I hope this helps everyone. I have found no real issues with the launcher, so if you have issues, dont immediately blame the launcher.

I think this is the most important feature in the game center.

It's actually not mandatory, you can still launch from the .exe files.

Only mandatory for updates - at least for now.

Can you input username and password with the .exe, as command line variables?

So it will go straight to garage without having to click login.

Probably should have one on how to turn off game seeding as well.

Nice to know but for me I can not get the WGC to load on my computer. Spent all day with tech support and still can't play my NA account.

My EU account ... that still works for me. go figure.

The most annoying part was getting rid of the game updater. Had to hit a couple of drives for that to work.  Uninstalling WoT was pretty straightforward though.

With this last WG move I reached the tipping point of "Congratulations, we updated you!!! Now you need to do this (enter various steps) to keep playing" - Nah, TYVM I can figure out other ways to enjoy my spare time.

GLHF

Not precisely related (but it popped in my mind):

“Do not confuse "duty" with what other people expect of you; they are utterly different. Duty is a debt you owe to yourself to fulfill obligations you have assumed voluntarily. Paying that debt can entail anything from years of patient work to instant willingness to die. Difficult it may be, but the reward is self-respect.
But there is no reward at all for doing what other people expect of you, and to do so is not merely difficult, but impossible. It is easier to deal with a footpad than it is with the leech who wants "just a few minutes of your time, please—this won't take long." Time is your total capital, and the minutes of your life are painfully few. If you allow yourself to fall into the vice of agreeing to such requests, they quickly snowball to the point where these parasites will use up 100 percent of your time—and squawk for more!
So learn to say No—and to be rude about it when necessary. Otherwise you will not have time to carry out your duty, or to do your own work, and certainly no time for love and happiness. The termites will nibble away your life and leave none of it for you.
(This rule does not mean that you must not do a favor for a friend, or even a stranger. But let the choice be yours. Don't do it because it is "expected" of you.)”

Seems like Wargaming is following their tried and true method of if it ain't broke, break it.
