Found this video today and thought I'd share it here.  Absolutely amazing what this person can do.

The level of detail in the modern kits; photo etched parts, etc.. really adds a whole new dimension to the models I use to build as a kid.  Been watching some Youtube videos of guys building airplane models.  Fascinating to watch.

Very nice. Congratulations on sticking to a hobby that requires more dedication than I have. I used to make models in high school but was distracted by.....SQUIRREL!

Oh, that's not me.  It's just a video I found on youtube.  I wish I had the patience required to do this lol.

I was never any good with models. No matter how hard I tried they never came out perfect.

 

My dad could make a perfect model. I remember the model of an old sailing ship he built with all the rigging and sails. One day I decided to take it off the shelf and play with it.

Then there was the time I pinched a piccolo pete, stuck it in the exhaust of a Spirit of America rocket car model and lit it.
