Just like the title says - I would like to know which tech tree LT is the best.

I'm looking into camo, view range, some damage output and speed, ofc.

Was thinking about starting one of the following lines: AMX 12t, 59-16 and VK 28.01.

But I'm not sure, so I'm looking into the community's advice.

Thank you for your vote and eventually a comment if it happens.

Are you asking about which is the best 6 or the best end tier tank?

I want a light first, then I'll go wheelies.

Got personal missions to do and lights have better view range than wheelies, as far as I can tell. idk

Situational, I'd say either 12t or T37 (but old 59-16(with autoloader) would be my choice)

Type 64 is the best tier 6 scouts, hands down.

Unfortunately though, like most vehicles that are best in class at the moment, it is a premium vehicle.

While it has been a while since I last played it, the T37 served me well in the past and was an enjoyable line to grind through.

Best light tank line (no wheelie) is of cours the Russian line that leads to the T-100 LT. Funnest light tank is the T49 with the derp hands down. Frenchie auto loaders are second place.

Not at tier 6, the tier 6 wheelie is fairly crappy... def worse than many if not all of the tracked tier 6 lights.

Good, and most acceptable in Strongholds, probably T37, 59-16.  Most fun in pubs for me... 12t because autoloder.

For light tank missions requiring good view range... Type 64... catch one on sale for 30% off.

Almost said the T37 but i think the T21 has a lot to offer. I still miss the autoloader on the T37.

I love the AMX 12t.  It's sneaky and the auto loader can be very effective.  Equipped with binos it makes an excellent passive scout.  Scout, flanker, finisher.

For some strange reason the Chinese lights work well for me along with the French 12t etc...

The 12t is probably the best but the only one I kept was the MT-25 with the stock gun, a spall liner and controlled impact on the driver it can be quite hilarious to play.

At tier 6, Type 64 is the best; however, the higher you go up in tiers, the bigger separation between  wheeled menace and tracked LTs becomes obvious.

Is it a tech tree tank?

The individual traits and styles that made T6 tech tree lights fun (auto-loader, derp, etc) were removed.  They are pretty much all the same tank now.

As for best VK-28.01,

You could try the AMX-12t for something a bit different, as that play style will serve moving down the line and can be extended (to a certain extent) to other auto-loaders.

Yeah, they lack view range but compensate with God mode armor and udes accuracy on the move for not mentioning the godly speed. Playing a light tank against a wheeled tank is pretty much like trying to kill a god(wheeled) with an ant(any other light tank). Just look it at this way, if even top heavies and tds have troubles penetrating it due to it's god God mode armor and we are talking about tanks with 1k dep damage or 390 penetration apcr/heat what a simple light tank with less than 250 pen would be able to do?  It will be totally outclassed. So isn't worth playing a light tank in this new wheeled era.
