I know I should know this ; but don't. I read that the little dot turns green when you have a shot for damage(Ithink). Mine is so small I can bearly make it out. Is there a way to make that Bigger, so my 74 year old eyes can see the damn thing?????

PS;

Just got new prescription still can't make it out.

Try different aiming reticles, some are easier to see than others. Plus there are some mods, one gives you three large circles but to be honest I didn't find it that useful, just didn't seem to notice it as much as the actual aim point changing colour.

Just an FYI, just because it shows green doesn't make it a guaranteed pen but if it's red you'll definitely not pen, if the shot goes exactly to that spot.

RNG makes the dot pretty useless. Anyway, my 70 year old eyes can see it on my 32" screen. It doesn't have to be a fancy gaming monitor either. Mine is a $100 Sanyo TV from Walmart.

If you want, you can use a penetration mod to change it to numbers. Relhax has it, as does Aslians.

I have a touch of color blindness I think - switching the reticle to the + sign one helped me a lot. Also, the dot does not connect to the lines when it is red and it does when it’s orange, which has helped me a lot. I can tell the difference between red and green on it easily but red and orange was tough with other reticles.

There is a circular version of the aimdot which is easier to see. It is larger than a dot and looks like a little “o” as your aimpoint. Try that.

I changed the sight color to white - via Aslain mod. That one has to use a mod for sight color change speaks of the idiocy in the WG  dev team

Start by making the adjustments noted here, adjust shapes as necessary.

(Bear in mind that the reticle does not include RNG therefore not every green pens nor every red does not.  Knowing weak spots still helps)

Also change the display of HP from % to HPs...

https://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/13-aslains-wot-modpack/

Scrolll down until you see the reticle/aiming mods..

You can preview them before you install.

Select what you want and install. The modpack installs automatically so you don't have to worry about folders and that stuff.

Hope this helps.

you can change the dots to different types that might be bigger and might be more helpful if not you can find mods that do it

you might not like this wander but you could lower the resolution to scale up the reticle I think.

Yes there is a cheap and effective way to make it bigger. You go to Wal-Mart and get a pair of reading glasses. I'm not trying to be funny here, it's what I did and it made it way better.
