So if WoWs can do server transfers why can't we?

Because the WoWS database engineers did a much better job when designing the user info database than was done for WoT?

At least,  that's my interpretation of the "offical" line we've already seen from WG regarding WoT server transfers in general.

WoT for a period of time did transfers between the NA and SEA servers, but WG doesn't do transfers from NA and SEA to EU and RU servers because of differences in the EULA. It's a legal thing.

It's not so much that they can't is that they wont. Too few people are left on the NA so they are basically trapping us here to go down with the ship.

This. To WoT, NA is pretty much a lost cause...no sense in wasting time to keep us alive. So, we'll all 'go down together, like true comrades!'. :sceptic:

keep us as hostages...that may actually spend real money before the ultimate server merge (whenever that happens). i would jump ship in an instant...ping is doable, little lag and NO FRICKIN MISSION codes!.i wish i had started there...and had all my accrued prem stuff there instead of here.

Lesta operates somewhat smarter than WG itself. It would be nice to try out WoT EU but im sure WG will wait till we have WoWP levels pop first.

Oh,forgot to mention ealier that I'd also love to hear what WG says on the topic in addition to what we as the players can guess about their motives and reasoning.

I currently have no interest in transferring servers myself, but do remain curious about the issue in general.

I know some players already have accounts on other servers, so they already know what's in-store IF they transfer their NA account to another server.

But I'm curious about those that DON'T have accounts on other servers. Have you even TRIED playing on the server you want to transfer your NA account to?

It's not hard to check it out. Just make sure you don't use the same email account you use for your main account on the NA server. You might like it, but, then-again, you might find it more frustrating than playing on this server.

at the very least,if they try an EU free account.they can test ping/latency on their own rigs. heck even someone next door to me could possibly be routed to EU by a far different path and have a bad experience. best for everyone who is possibly interested to at least test the EU waters.
