Tankers,
I suggest that tow cables on the vehicles in game be able to attach to flipped vehicles to more easily help those who are stuck.

If it wasn't for the stupid situations where there's no way you should be flipping your tank I'd be happy to leave it as is but the easiest solution outside self righting would be to just hit a key when you're near a flipped team mate, maybe have a short timer where you have to stay near them before they flip.
Don't flip very often but situations like this really annoy me. I was in sniper mode, stopped moving as soon as my reticle jumped up and tracks were not even moving when I flipped yet my tank just kept moving forward, soapy rocks I guess. Not that reality is a factor in this game but I wish they could make terrain work a bit more realistically, there's no way a 50 tonne tank would flip rubbing up against an almost vertical rock face at 10km/h.

Yes
WG has made a hundred ways to accidentally get flipped on stupid crap like reversing beside a building or turning next to a rock, getting flipped and being useless with no way to get yourself unflipped sucks, they know about it and the soapy rocks yet they still haven't fixed the physics engine, not even a simple fix like having an ally come next to you and press the "T" key to flip you back over after a few seconds, that would be great!
It seems physics don't apply to wheeled vehicles. I have seen them tumble ending up on their side on a slope with the turret on the downhill side...they tip back onto their wheels.
The same people that say this makes sense also say there are no hitboxes below the belt line of these things to explain the zero damage critical hits.
The easiest answer would be to just handle it (sorta) like how Frontline does:
1.) Don't get hit by an enemy for ~10 seconds.
2.) Hold J for 15 seconds without being hit by an enemy.
3.) Voila, you get flipped back onto your tracks.
