i just died in a game.... I fired a shot from 100 ft, directly and completely aimed on a tier 4 med side, with my teir 6 su100y, fired, and the shell disappeared, it didnt miss, it didnt bounce, and it didnt pen, it went invisible..then i fired again, and the exact same thing......i seem to be getting this alot lately, also non pens on thes ides of tanks lower teirs than me at point blank..... they dont pen, yet, 300 or more yards away, i can pick the barely seen top of the turret and blow them to bits at a tier 7... how does this happen....

Could be a ghost shell. Do you have the replay?

Will I do not generally support the replay or you are an idiot mentality this forum has it would be helpful for you mumble to review the replay. Most of my ghost shots deal with weird/ laggy/ latency problems. WHenI hit replay my gun is afew inches away from where I was sure I Was aimed at firing at the wind instead of the lower glacis. I still blame poor coding and a lack of commitment from the dev s to fix well anything.

I haven't noticed any problem lately. Could be your internet connection.

It is not about "replay or you are an idiot". A replay would simply help to determine the objective cause.

Otherwise we are stuck with feelz as the only data. Not a great way to determine the objective truth of anything.

Most likely game they only want make up new tanks to sell and don't care about fixing problems in game.

Maybe there is something in the replay he doesn't want us to see... :hiding:

I would give the forum members credit as you say I should If that was the case. Unfortunately, most replies tend to be moronic "get gud" and "it didn't happen" (cough above post cough) thus lacking all sincerity of trying to help someone get better. I would suggest that to be really sincere an indiviualized cha twould work it out better.

How do you objectively measure chat? You are still stuck with "feels like" or "seems like" instead of visual evidence.

The human mind is full of biases and is great at convincing itself of things that are not objectively true. Measurable and verifiable data is a more accurate way of determining truth.

I am trying to help but you are not listening to what I am saying.

I'm not really concerned if you like my replies or not.  I'm interested in intellectually honest debate and objective truth. I will stop pointing out your fallacious arguments, when you stop making them.

I am calling you out on that. No intellectual debate. I submit to you the forums as a whole and you tsk me to find things that conflict with high-horse fallacy. Then as I point them out you come out with some excuse or other why they are not valid thus looking like you are intellectually superior without doing anything but saying it is invalid. Pretty much you are not contributing to the discussion except to ego boost your self-inflicted superiority. I got it. SO I called you out and said help others which so far you have not demonstrated a willingness to do so.

The replay will show where the shot *really* went... which is very likely *NOT* what you're seeing when you play the game.

When your client, the server, and the targets client are even slightly out of sync (particularly if there is a very large latency disparity between each client) you'll see shots just... *poof*, vanish.  Or soar right through the center of the target and kick up dust.
But when you play back the recording you'll see that your gun was pointing... elsewhere when you fired or the target was not in front of your gun.

What you fail to understand is that you are advocating that people come to conclusions based on fallacious reasoning. This is a fantastic way to be wrong about what is actually happening.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and they can feed themselves.

Help someone then. Take one of these people that are rage posting about the game, calling it fixed or losing game after game in a row and actually help them. Don't ask for a replay but actually help them. Take them into a practice room show them good spots to start a battle. Show them what to look for. or  Keep up with your usless ego infating highhorse stupidity. Either way it is your choice. SO far you have done nothing to gain my respect because you have done...nothing. Asking for replay is in the forums is; its just trolling and pointless to the person.
