So I recently finished the turreted TD line for the UK tree by unlocking the FV4005.  I enjoy that tank a lot.  I'm also finished the UK medium and UK Heavy line, except for the S.Conq.

So i got to thinking about the other TD line, and took a look at the tree and most of the guns are already unlocked for all those TD up to the Badger.  I'm wondering if it is worth investing in that line and going down it, since I have the hard part already finished, I would just need to unlock tracks/engine and then go for the next td in the branch.  I would be starting from the AT-2.

Thoughts?

I was satisfied with the run up to the Tortasaurus.  Badger unlocked, but in no hurry to buy.  Would do again.

Sloooooooow speeds.  Decent armor.  The speed kept me out of trouble, and the armor helped when I still got INTO trouble.  They fit my sucky playstyle fairly well.  YMMV, of course.

Trade ya for some other info - I've got the Conway unlocked, but not bought.  Worth it?

Possible duplicate ;]

TLDR: easy to play line of deadly punching bags.

I enjoyed the Conway, but it is a different beast from the Charioteer.  The top gun has a great alpha, but I found the accuracy and longer reload annoying, along with the 180° Turret rotation limit.  In the end I swapped back to the lower gun, which had a faster reload and better accuracy, but did less dmg.  The trade-off was better I feel.

It doesn't have armor, so don't get involved, just snipe from a distance and the Conway is a powerful machine

I really enjoyed the AT 6, AT 7, AT 15, and the Tortoise but the Badger itself was an incredible disappointment. Very poor armour compared to the others or maybe it just gets blasted with premium rounds - hard to say but I'm considering selling it while I will definitely keep the others.

I enjoy the Tort way more than the Badger.

I would recommend you do not finish the line with the Badger. Despite the on paper prospect of it being great its very much not at all. The Tort is great.

I also unlocked the T X Badger but stayed at the T IX Tortoise.

On the other UK TD line, I found more tanks I liked.

  • T VI Achilles
  • T VII Challenger was okay. Sold it.
  • T VIII Charioteer
  • T IX Conway
  • T X FV4005 used to real good. Then they nerfed it a few months ago. The nerf to the reverse speed really hurt it. Don't play it as much now.
