Status on the platoon issue?

Folks there's a platoon bug/issue, but they are aware and working on a fix per OP in another thread.

And lol at that pic Domo. :)

should've made the patch something like Micro Patch 1.6.6_7 or something, making it 1.7 would indicate it was a patch worth downloading, this is far from that.

Doesn't WG developers play their own game ? Why do we have to be the guinea pigs ? Why don't the employees play the game for a day before releasing the patch? Unless the bugs are server specific, I dont why they can't.

Its like we are beta testing 9 years into the game.

THANK YOU SO MUCH WG! Ever since I have used the anonymizer I have seen a significant difference! I have been yoloed and clicked by arty WAY LESS. I feel like I can actually play the game! Also I love the crew directives for credits! Do you think you can extend this to equipment directives as well? Again thank you so much! Merry Christmas!

2 suggestions for the anonymizer ....

1.  Make the anonymizer for the opposing side only (teammates would look exactly the same)

2.  Enable the anonymizer by default (everyone starts with it on)  Then if they want, they can turn it off ...

Ummm, no. If I don't want it then I shouldn't have to be the one to turn it off. The ones that are scared of showing who they are should be the ones to turn it on. I think this is the dumbest thing WG has ever done.

Anonymizer does what we expected it to do, that's fine. But just to throw an idea out there I'll repeat my shtick that it would be great if we had an option to play off the record and not have stats collected to begin with. Or even for those of us with established accounts, to go into event weekends without any thought of a bad streak souring the mood.

As of the ability to buy directives with credits, I think that's a great idea. Should apply to the equipment directives too while we're at it. My one concern is the current prices. 10k credits is reasonable, but 20k is pushing it. Especially if the goal is to let new accounts have sixth-sense via the related directive. There's no way new guys can afford 20k a pop in the low tiers while they're just beginning to establish themselves. If that one directive was say 5k or so (or perhaps even free) that would be a real help for recruiting and retaining new players.

Game crashes nvidia gt750m kernel frequently.  Also notable lag returning to garage after a match, roughly 4 times as long as prior.

Directives for credits = +1
Directives for 20k credits = -1

One thing that make a huge difference on this game is the Sixth Sense.
I see that allowing a new player to have Sixth Sense using credits as a good measure, but a new player normally doesn't have enough credits (still grinding the tech trees).

So... Maybe you should reconsider the amount of credits necessary to have the Sixth Sense Directive (suggestion).

TLDR: Suggesting to decrease the credit price of Sixth Sense price considering the new players low cash.

20,000 is kind of pricey but better than spending bonds

I have had that LAG -- something like 65-85 seconds when returning to the garage -- for the last several weeks -- like 10.  I have:
- left for garage when dead -- LAG

- Played in safe mode -- LAG

- Played in platoon -- LAG

- Played without platoon -- LAG

- waiting until the entire battle was completed and auto-returned to garage - LAG

- Deleted entire game and reloaded it -- LAG

Yes, I did file a ticket.  I provided the required diagnostic report -- result - nada, told to wait for new release and HOPE the problem is resolved -- well 1.7 is the new release and I still have LAG

There is no situation in which I do not experience return to garage lag.

Load in to a match takes 15sec more now. With the anonymizer selected its 25fps hit . Of all the things that  were needed for this game ....this was probably the least!

it's just sad the community requires something like the anon system, it's just a shame people are so toxic... the real issue is and always was XVM. I still don't know how this is going to stop xvm sniping, someone will figure a work around since the data is always collected and compiled later.  that's the issue with software, there is always a way to get around it.

Didn't get a chance to play yesterday but did got on today and my FPS is about half of what it used to be, at times couldn't aim at anything. And then there is this big black line going across the middle of the screen. What the h is that? It's small in battle but all the way across in the garage.  Would have been nice to have tested this poor update a little longer before unleashing it on us, especially in December

I don't understand it either. XVM is the problem. The simple solution would've been to just disable the XVM stats if it was such an issue, but typical "WG logic" was to make a ridiculous patch. Personally, I think if someone is that good at the game, they should be a priority target for elimination, based off of their stats for the tank they are playing after around 100 battles or so in it. Then you don't have uniscums getting harassed with nonsense when starting a new tank line. As for the YouTubers, what did they expect? Hell, being that they're promoting WoT, I don't understand why WG doesn't just let them mirror their account with a different name for when they're streaming.

I don't see how this is going to address the "toxicity" issue, either. The very thing(s) that WG uses in WoT to encourage players to spend money on the game is the same source/reason for the toxicity in matches.

If you see a reward tank on the battlefield, you pretty much know its a Unicom, right? Anon or not. Just asking for a friend.
