well the tech tree e75 has them so...

Yes But they are spaced armor, Not hitboxes,  I just checked tankgg and they show up as spaced armor for the E75ts as well

I don't think it has 100% been confirmed that is a loot box exclusive and even if it is it will likely be sold later. The range finders don't have a hit box.

I_QQ,

They are modeled and they do allow hits.  They're the same as any of the non-tier 10 German tanks, that have a schmalturm turret (i.e., Panther, Panther 88, Panther II, E 50, E 50 M, Tiger II, Pz. IV Schmalturm, etc. etc.).  They're small enough that, unless you're face hugging, nobody is going to try to snipe them.  BUT, given RNG, you can and will take hits there.  Plus, the one range-finder that is sort-of-ish in front of the turret will take a hit, as well.  Plus, when I played it on test, the top pariscope can also take hits but I'm not sure if they fixed that, after pushing it to production (Live).

------------------------------------------

As to everyone else, the tank is not bad.  People need to understand what it is and what it isn't.  The E 75 TS is NOT an E 75.  The truth is, it is a heavier E 50 M with a heavy tank gun OR, if you wish, what the Tiger II was pre-patch 8.8 (but with a beefier gun).  If you want to be successful, you're going to run with the Mediums.  You're not going to achieve much, trying to side-scrape, with 80 mm of side armor, especially when there is a Panzer VII/VK 72.01 K turret bulge, in the middle - look at the tanks.gg model and you'll see it.  Utilize the mobility and the great reverse speed to deke shots and pound on softer Medium targets.  This is not nor should it be played like the Lowe, as the armor won't stand up and you don't have the pen.

EDIT:  Beware the dreaded German bias negativity that is quickly seen with the horrible engine/track double root effect.  Like the lower tier German tanks and the VK 75.01, the E 75 TS has its engine and transmission moved forward.  Unlike the E 75 and the VK 45.02 B, if you poke your nose out, you will lose half of your engine power to a fart in the wind.  Because, YOU KNOW, German engine death susceptibility is exactly the same thing as Russian/Chinese fuel tank frailty.  Ignore the fact that a damaged fuel tank doesn't do anything where as a damaged engine either roots you in place or screws you for the rest of the game (until your repair kit is up).  Can't have a rear turreted (fake) super heavy German premium, without constant dead engines, OR a fast heavy (like Russians/Chinese) with good armor that doesn't just have its VW beetle engine fall out of the bottom all of the time.  That would be freaking horrible!

I can only go by the 3d model, they show them as spaced armour I think but they are not weak spots per se, the weak spots are behind them. So because they are mounted on the side of the turret if you're shooting them head on it's going to be very tricky to pen but from the side it will be easy IF you can hit that small spot. All in all the monster cupola on the Renegade is a much worse weak spot.

More than that, if it is a bad or very difficult tank to use that doesn't have a clearly defined role you can bet that they will not only openly sell it, but sell it very quickly before more people know about how bad or difficult to use it really is. This is probably the entire reason that it's in the loot boxes in the first place, to sell it as a random reward before people realize how bad and worse than other German heavy tanks it really is.

The E75 is basically a better Lowe. Better alpha. Better reload and better speed with the same turret armor.

The IS 3A was sold at a later date.  Maybe they will sell the double barrel when they actually have a tank line implemented.  How many people actually play their Type 59, or IS 3A after all the hype died down.

The is3a was sold two years before it even made it to the 2018 Christmas loot boxes...

But it wasn't an autoloader/autoreloader in game back then.

Why dint you play the T29 instead? It’s range finders aren’t hit boxes. Problem solved. Or is it just nazi tanks that thrill ya?

I play mine all the time. The is3a is stupid good with the reverse autoloader clip. Load up fully then when you go to trade shots you get three to their one with no penalty for dumping the clip. The type is still a great medium especially with the pref mm so its always relevant in a match. As to the 75ts it will be the first to go on sale since its mediocre at best but don't expect the 703 for a while even after the double barrel line opens up. It's just too silly good to allow mass sales. As it stands when you get a top platoon of them they mop the floor with the rest of the enemy team.

German tanks get the obligatory weak spots because this is a Russian company. Just look up and down the german super heavy and the russian heavy lines. It's a joke.

The turret and the UFP are definitely NOT as strong as the Lowes.

The turret front has at least 6 weak spots:

Cupola

Googly eyes X 2

Thin strips on sides of mantlet X 2

Topside of mantlet (small one)

In addition, I have been penned twice through the mantlet sides where the armor is ostensibly 600+mm thick.

The turret needs to be cleaned up.
