Too many copies of tanks in this game already....No need for more!

I disagree as WG often plays around with variants creating "new" tanks with completely different feels using the game's mechanics.  A boost or nerf in any of the major categories (penn, alpha, speed, pwr-wght ratio, dispersion, reload, etc) create new tanks even if they are rehashes.  Like I said in the OP, many of these tanks were modified IRL.

WG just released an IDF 3D skin for the Object 430U, in fact you can still (maybe) win one from loot boxes. Why they picked a non-existent Object when the T-55  or T-62s would have been perfectly historical  eludes me.

3D skins could fix a lot of problems like this without flooding the game with clones.

No more tanks please.

Just more maps, and less arty.

I certainly would appreciate having some of their tanks in the game, but I agree with others that it would be best to place them in an international branch, where tank designs from various nations that can’t form an entire branch by themselves could be placed. I’ve wanted WG to do that since I started playing the game.

No. Not with tanks you listed.

Mogach series are just Centurions, Sabra and both Sho’t's are just Pattons. Rest is not even renamed.

Only Merkava would be new thing, and it would be yet another space age tank to bully poor Maus.

When I read the title of the thread I thought LITERALLY the same thing.

The problem i'm afraid isn't whether a new Israeli tech tree would be repetitive with "clone" tanks.  First of, let's face it, those are the easiest to bring into the game...clones of what is already here.  Further we have that kind of thing already between USA/UK lines even Soviet if you include Loza's Sherman.  The Soviet and Chinese line also has clones.  UK/USSR has clones, China/US has clones also.  We now also have tanks that can be used in EITHER line specifically the 4Tanker and Dog T34 that can be played as Polish or USSR.  Cloning, use of clones is not a a viable excuse.  Wargaming even has games/modes where "Frankenstein" tanks put together for all kinds of parts exist.

The problem isn't whether WG is somehow doesn't want to sell us stuff this is EXACTLY like stuff we have just with different paint jobs. We agree on that i hope.

The problem of "balance" between Israeli and other Middles Eastern nations is really not an issue.  They all used the same basic ex-WWII and pre-WWII stock, sometimes even each other tanks. You could easily have a "Middle Eastern" line that incorporate all nations of the region.  Ironically, these ARE the nations that have actually had a lot of post WWII tank/armored combat.  Some of the nations already represented, have only used their armor to suppress their own people. Maybe we should have Tiananmen Square map and roll over protesters.

The problem is bias, political bias and primarily against Israel.  I'd love to see a Middle Eastern Line...but so long as decisions come essentially from Russian Federation sourced interests, i don't think we'll ever see this happen.

Israel has more of an armored history than most of the countries represented in WOTs.

This is not a WWII game.

What? Most of the tanks in this game were developed for WW2 or based on technology/situations from WW2? I know it has tanks from outside that conflict but, it really is kind of a WW2 game.

Being pedantic but the Isrealis did develop a  (later) Centurion with the M60 power pack from the Pattons. They found it superior to the original engine and it created a unique look for their machines.

Dont feels bad man, Canada doesnt get a tree either and they were in the war long befor many nations were. We did build several of our own tank but most were designed by other countries but not all of them. We have the leopard and the leopard 1 now too.

It wouldnt hurt the game to add these countries for teh partiotic value but what do I know.

Just because people dont want them added doesnt mean they would have to play them.

The alternative is what we've seen with 3D styles like the 'Kelevra'. Make a few more, for instance the Centurion 7/1 as the Shot-Kal, one of the Pattons as the Magach, the Revolarise as the Super-Sherman or a captured T-62 as the Taran and we're set. Maybe some kind of crew skins with voiceovers and that would be more or less the whole package.

There's also the possibilities of somehow using the 'multinational vehicle' system to similarly borrow some of these tanks from other tech trees. Or instead, go the way of tanks like the Australian Centurion 5/1 and just make new premiums that are clones of existing tanks, but with the appearance of a different nationality.

a very easy solution would be to make the first generation of Merkava the new clan wars reward tank.

How about starting the artillery branch with a Palestinian stone thrower.
