Wheeled vehicles need to go. They are broken. Seriously broken. And we all know it.

Even the [edited]-kissing WoT commentators on YouTube, who are handed a mountain of free crap by their WG overlords, agree - wheeled tanks have ruined World of Tanks.

Frankly, I am at a loss to comprehend why Wargaming are happy for this farcical development to continue.

The cynical side of me suspects that Wargaming are making $$$ out of wheeled vehicles. But, how is making the general player-base detest the current state of the game good for business?

Wheels are fine, the only thing broken is arty and HE guns. Not surprising to see an arty noob complain about it considering they get countered by them.

Wheelies are tbh only OP when a good/great player is playing in it. The average player sucks in them...

high skill cap tank that punishes poor plays and rewards good ones.

If you seriously believe that arty - in its current miserable state - is a huge problem for you on the battlefield, then you're just bad at tanks.

And more than a little hypocritical, for someone who has played dozens of arty.

I've played nearly every vehicle in the game, doesn't mean I'm oblivious to the problems arty causes.

+1^

2,352 battles played in SPG out of 5,618 total battles played. I wonder how many ended directly or indirectly because of a wheeled.

Because, there is no problem with an entire team missing shots at an EBR because he is not where he appears on everyone's screen?

And I guess those invisible TDs that hit like truck with pin-point accuracy aren't causing any "problems".

Meanwhile, arty hits enemy teams with small pin-pricks ... IF they hit at all.

People not knowing how to aim is noting new and has been a "problem" long before wheeled vehicles were a thing. I don't have much trouble hitting them with my ping and from my experience having played them, a lot of the enemies don't either. Pretty sure it's just an issue with arty players.

TDs are not nearly as much of an issue as arty and HE guns.

I wouldn't call hitting as hard as the average heavy while being completely safe from retaliation a small pin-prick. Not to forget crippling the tank with 15-20 seconds of stun and crew injuries. Even if they don't hit you'll still get stunned for 15 goddamn seconds because that BS is still a thing for some reason.

No, they’re just bad shots. I and other players I’ve seen hit them regularly.

Wrong. I run a lot of TDs, and their accuracy is anything other than pin point.

Meanwhile, arty hits enemy teams with small pin-pricks ... IF they hit at all.

And I had at least 2 games last night in the tier 9 US arty with close to 6K combined damage...

Does the upper tier 8 premium, as well as the tier 9 and 10 need some wheel hit box rework? Yes they do so the hull receives some form of damage.

The others from the Lynx down are easy to hit and damage and require little if any attention.

I’ve seen way more of these played like garbage and either die in 60 seconds or contribute nothing meaningful the entire game and just run around getting outspotted.

You've played 32 tanks.

26 of those tanks are Premium tanks. Yours is probably the most obscenely pay-to-win account I have ever seen.

Shut up.

Wheelies are broken, but I agree arty is worse.  I am hoping the speed or accuracy on the move or both get nerfed.

With WGs made up physics the wheelies are totally stupid. With real physics they could not go that fast cross country. Again the idiots saying learn to aim , we know how to aim jerk.

IMHO the wheels are not the problem - we have had some seriously fast tanks before - the problem is the insane autoaim that the wheelies get.  It's almost as bad as the old autoaim+ mods - which were banned...

Take away the ability for the wheelies to snap shots, while jumping over ridges at 65KPH and they will be fairly balanced.

Wheelies are high skill cap, lots of players do poorly in them.  They do need to be like balanced, however.  That is, if a team has any number of wheelies, they get an equal amount in the opposing team.  It's too easy to break balance only one team getting one.  They also need the enhanced aim turned off.   Bingo, balanced.

Arty is still a larger throrn in the side of the playerbase, I'd wager.
