Anyone else in the midwest having problems with packet loss once you reach chi-b21-link.telia.net in the net route?  Makes the game unplayable.

There are a couple of Telia notes in my route that they've over-provisioned to the point that ICMP doesn't even respond, so you get 100% packet loss.

 

In the end, you can't necessarily fault Telia, as they're likely providing to the SLA that WarGaming has chosen to pay for.

I had a couple of games last night that had a lot of latency/packet-loss. I'm in the north east but it was very unusual and isolated to 2 specific games last night.

This is wrong. If ICMP doesnt respond at all, and the connection goes through, then that node/ server is not configured to respond to ICMP. Lots of nodes do that.

 

As for the packet loss, have you tried to reboot you modem? That sometimes can reset the route.
