Not bad, I quit smoking in the new year and the urge to kill has lessened to the point where I only occasionally want to rage kill everything.

I've been about 6-7 months without a smoke.  I use a vape every now and then but quitting that as well.  Best of luck!

Nice and congrats!  I'm jealous of the fridge.  I'm still rocking the one that came with my apartment.  I think the noise it makes inspired people to make dubstep

I haven't had a drink all year.

That's great to hear!  Keep it up!

Great, into my third year of retirement.

Playing WoT full time when I'm not hiking.

Will be starting the Appalachian Trail for a third time in March. Took six and a half months to do the 2200 miles in 2018. Last year only did 63 miles.

This year we'll see how far we can get in 30 days.

That sounds amazing!  I'm in need of a good hike, or just seeing nature in general.

I have a vape as well but it's for, um, herbs not chemicals. It does help suppress the urge to kill.

I'll be keeping that habit.

Reasons.

Where have you all hiked? Winds are my favorite hike so far. Went to Titcomb Basin from Pinedale. Would recommend anyone to do that hike. Island Lake was where I camped and might have been the most beautiful scenery when you get out of a tent in the morning overlooking that lake. Only one I have done so far I want to do over again.

Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking is how I quit smoking 10 years ago on audiobook. Had to listen to it 4 times before I actually quit.

Basically he talks you into not caring instead of quitting- theres a critical difference that determines whether the process is "easy" or "hard". When you dont care about something its easy to stop, just like dumping an ex-girlfriend.

I say 10 years not smoking... but I dont actually know because I dont actually care. And thats way different than being quit.
