In all likely hood that the current civilization (both east and west) will not survive the century from the multitude of human and natural problems in such a short period of time. If it survives there will be a lot fewer people around than there is now and we are likely already at our peak in terms of population and likely nearing the technological peak as well.

I suggest  y'all read "The Better Angels of Our Nature" by Steve Pinker.

 

It will help you understand that our current world is the best world that the world has ever been, and our future is quite bright.

I would very much like to read World In Peril but the cheapest used book I have found so far is $299. 

 

This guy wants $1200.

 

 

I once gave a book to a friend thinking if I ever wanted to read it again I would buy another copy.
