Just putting this out there;  Two lines of code in the client package can keep Warpack out of the game.  It isn't that hard.  So there must be a reason Wargaming has never done this.  Could it be extra income??  I'll consider playing again when Wargaming stops being cute and stops selling Warpack subscriptions.

If people still think warpack is a rampant issue then they are living under a tinfoil roof. Sure they could ban all mods from the game and make things a lot better with the exclusion of xvm, but they can't solely target out 100% of cheats with 100% accuracy with simply 2 lines of code, no game has been able to do that. Destiny 2 has cheaters, League has cheaters, GTA V has cheaters, any game out there will have people cheating because people create new cheats each week to circumvent filters. Banning all mods and restricting modification of game files would help but thats only if they remove the mods folder in the first place, which they never will.

Either way, all of that relies on the assumption that cheating is a common issue in the game, which it isn't. There are far more important issues to address i.e. unbalanced tanks making the game unplayable at any tier.

Yet here you are still playing WOT after 54Kgames amongst players with toxic Mods. I wonder why?

I had someone accuse me of hacking yesterday cause I decided to not shoot the is-7 that was face hugging my super conquer.  Rather I shot the 200hp 430u that was 350m behind him that gave me a clean side shot.

War pack is not something you should be worrying about at all anymore. Rarely are you going to encounter that its usually 1-2 players in every blue moon. But the majority of the time someone just got a lucky shot or guess on you or they are playing that much better than you. I have seen a trend in those people that claim cheats are rampant. They refuse to admit that they just got out played by someone.

Warpack isn't the main problem anymore. It's AVS mods by PKmods. They take advantage of how open-ended the WoT client is and use custom mod installation folders by modifying paths.xml. Which means it's side-loading mods and thus not detected by WoT. After that they have access to an entire python environment with little to no filtering on WG's part.

The game is to open for it's own good. What they need is a modding API but that costs time and money vs selling more premium tanks.

The statistics feature of XVM is toxic. It's why i don't use it. But the configuration options and API that the XVM framework provides is amazing. It's a shame that it gets over-shadowed by it's stats.
