I bet this question is asked a lot, but I figure I might as well ask. What lines would be the most recommended for players that don't have a lot of free xp, and don't have to use as much premium ammo? I was watching a QB video and he recommended Swedish TD's. In addition to that, I'm also going down the Soviet medium and heavy lines. Any other suggestions for lines?

Thanks,

Heatstroke

Swede TDs, wheelie bois (because HE is dirt cheap) arty and pretty much anything t6 and lower. you can grind credits decently in a t67 or pz4H. Jap heavies are meh. If you go that way dont go higher than the OHO.

Tier 8 is risky becuase of how much tX you see so you have to shoot gold anyway and that gets expensive

Pretty much what QB said:
1: If you have Amazon Prime, get Twitch Prime - it's free with the Amazon Prime.  This will get you a good premium tank and short-term rentals to try before you think about buying ( that are then discounted 15-30% )
2: You will need one premium T7-T8 tank to make credits with when you get in a hole.  But only one.  Win it, grind it via tank rewards, find it, steal it for credits... whatever you can without paying, if you can.  Everything else is optional - you don't have to spend a ton on the game unless you want to.
2b: Frontline is a good place to also get a premium tank if you don't mind the (rather difficult) grind.
2c: If you still have the "coin" for a T6 tank, get the U.S. SPG as it will save you a long grind.
3: Russian mediums and heavies.  French lights and auto-loaders.  U.S. SPGs.  Russian, Swedish, and German TDs.
There are exceptions, of course, but those lines are pretty solid.  TDs are the easiest to start out on because they translate the most to other games - sit in a place, move every so often - and snipe.

Thankfully, I did manage to grab a Chrysler K GF and a Black Mutz during the Black Market, so I'm ok on that regard.

Hope you got the Russian T-34-M. New players can get a free premium tier six tank somehow. I don't recall how. Ya may wanna forum search it.

That thing can Beast-Mode.

As far as lines go.. Be careful with the German line. It's got some tanks to play big with.  Just a lot of grief to go though, to get em'.

The UDES 03 and the T8 German WT (TD) are very close to their premium counterparts and are good choices - though the grind is... it's worth it, but LONG.

One dirty tank I used to use for credit grinding was the BDR G1 B. 4 shots, 1K damage in a Tier 5, the credits roll in. You don't really need to spam prem ammo, it's about P.43 Bis level of pen. But, it's slow, poorly armoured, and has really bad vision control. Also the stock grind is horrid. But once it's upgraded it's amazing
