Grognard - (thats #4) - Long time wargamer of old cardboard chits and hex map type.  Military history is one of my main hobbies.  Can date old (20's and 30's) movies by type of aircraft on poster in background.

Not military myself, but my father is an infantry major in the Canadian Forces, my mother and uncle are both ex-engineers, and two of my cousins are reservists.
On top of all that, i'm just generally into military history as well as being a tank nut :)

5)	  “Military, other, and I also religiously watch Greatest Tank Battles.” For those who fit into both 2 and 3, obviously.

Former 95B1P (Military Police, Airborne)  Spent two years in Germany as a leg and two at Bragg.  Of my Germany time, almost half of it was spent on Operation Joint Endeavor (IFOR) getting 1AD into the area of operations.  Saw a lot of Abrams & Brads on HETs from the top of a Humvee on that.

WWII nut. My grandfather was in the 42nd Div and earned himself a Bronze Star, which he never talked about.

Former Canadian Military, Air Reserve Officer. Basically I was a glorified babysitter but it did let me enjoy some of the training. Might of stayed longer if I went armoured instead of trying to get a regular spot in Air Transport.

Combat Engineer.
Didn't have a CEV, but it was sure fun watching the infantry and armor get all snarled up in our landscaping.
Done the hex map thing back when games were played with pencil and paper and imagination.

Been an enthusiastic WW2 nut since i was a kid (i'm 50) and know quite enough about war to know I never want to be involved in one! (kudos to those guys who volunteer but count me out!) Started out by playing using Airfix miniatures which my brother and I would spread all over the living room floor during the school holidays and its gone from there.

Major military history buff, especially the WWII era. If I had the Military Channel, that would probably be the only thing I watched.

Not military, but through no fault of my own. I'd join in a instant if I could and have a lot of respect for you guys that have served  :Smile_honoring:

Civilian.  I've always liked tanks.  There are 4 on display where I live.  I just really like the game.
