My thought is, maybe instead using your energies to create new events on top of other events, concentrate on providing new and different maps to play on.  jmho...

I played this on the Common Test Server.

I'll be definitely be doing this. You don't have to pay anything to participate. It just takes longer/more games.

IMHO. -- A majority of posters/whiners would complain if you hung them with a new rope.

Nobody, not a single person, is complaining regarding it being FREE.  The complaints are about paying 5000 gold and getting better improved bond equipment which is introducing more PAY TO WIN.

This is terrible. I've always thought a battle pass would be something amazing for world of tanks because you could have loads of cosmetics for all the vehicles. Instead it is insanely good equipment locked behind a pay wall. On top of that, the price of the battle pass is WAY too much, especially when compared to what other games charge for their battle pass. Even if you do get it and try to reach the end, the amount of games you have to play to complete it is absurd as well. Battle passes arent ment to be something to struggle with, sure you might have to play a little more than usual if you really want to finish it out but if you have school, work, family, or a social life, then you are going to struggle to complete this overpriced pay to win failure of a battle pass. I'm not even mad that this point, wargaming, just disappointed.  ):

More pay to win. Other than the bond modules, it's an ok idea. 6500 gold for 3 months is ok too, no big deal.

edit: Actually if it's 6500 gold for the pass, and you still have to pay for premium, this is bad.

It's not better then bond equipment. It starts out as good as normal equipment and you can improve it for 3 mil credits to be as good as bond equipment.

Ways WG could get me to spend more $ on this game:

1) Battle Pass, another long, drawn-out, obviously P2W grind... NOPE

2) Delete all the Super Magical Fantasy Clown Cars from the game... YEP

I hate that WG are turning this game into P2W PacMan. I loved it back when it was a slow-paced intellectual challenge, but in the last couple of years WG has been busy dumbing it down and turning it into a ping- and reflex-dependent arcade game. I am not interested in spending money on this game. It has lost most of its appeal, so simply isn't worth spending money on now.

So now I have to keep track of a "Battle Pass" in World of Tanks, an "Outlaw Pass" in Red Dead Redemption Online and a "Season Pass" in The Division 2 all at the same time.  Life is good :)

Yeah, this idea is bad WG. Hiding the improved Gun Rammer in the Pay For Battle Pass? Really poor decision here.

Hmmm... if points per battle are same for every tier, then if you want to complete event in least amount of battles tier 6 is best pick.

to allow for RNG, sealclubbing platoons, fail teams, lag, soviet bias etc. I rolled dice and got 4 as average points per battle.

Math clearly favors tier 6, and lower tier battles tend to be shorter, but in the end it will work only if you have 19 strong tier 6's to field. I happen to have exactly 19 tier 6 prems, but some of them are certainly not strong contenders...

It will be interesting if Rudy's dual nationality will make it count as two.

If I count points for "Elite Progression" correctly it is 10360, including 2250 from basic progression, which results in crazy amount of battles required for people with life... and certainly favors players with large garages :]

Watch the video again.  You can only earn a fixed number of points per tier.

I just don't understand why you can earn or win the Dynamic badge to show off but they take it back????? Why not let you keep it ? It's not like your going to sell it on Ebay for a few million credits.I feel if you earn it to show off you should be able to keep it plain and simple. You put the work and effort into it so you should be able to keep it to show off.

I definitely understand why the player base has concerns about this event, doesn’t seem like Wargaming did a great job of setting up the paying aspect of the event. However, when it is all said and done they can set it up as they like. The only option the player base has is whether to purchase the Elite pass or not.

Jugar para ganar...!!

si ya hay algo llamado prima que se paga. deberían enfocarse en mejorar eso, pero aparentemente solo están interesados en el dinero, pagan más para ganar más y

People like you need to grow the F up.  It shows those numbers right on the Wargaming news post - which is linked at the top of this thread.  Instead you scratch your fat A and ask someone else to feed it to you on a baby spoon.  Holy S dude!

Seems like the very definition of "pay to win" give players who don't want to go through the 6,500 gold (roughly $30) paywall a Gun Laying Drive which is essentially useless to be honest. BUT give the players who PAY the better equipment which in this case is the Rammer (for those who don't know what this does it increases fire rate, in this case up to 12.5%) thus giving players that PAY an ADVANTAGE. This is asinine, did you people learn nothing from the backlash from Rubicon?

I see the concern about pay-to-win and understand it.  I agree that this fits that definition.  Where we disagree is on scale.  You compare this to Rubicon.  That is a flawed comparison.  I was livid about Rubicon because of the SCALE.  There were multitudes of different effects that a player could have used on a single tank and they ALL had to be paid for on a GRAND scale.  It was both a HUGE cash grab AND ptw.  The advantage over FTP players offered by this SINGLE piece of equipment offering exactly 2.5% over the benefit of a standard gun rammer is negligible in standard play.  At 10 gold per switch I am NOT going to be moving this thing around every time I want to play a new tank.  If this equipment is allowed in competitive modes like clan wars, or tournaments then that’s a completely different story.  I just don’t see this as scaling well with Rubicon but I realize that the fear for most people is about future escalation - and to that point I agree we need to be vigilant.

You watch it again :]

Both article and video state that point limit is per tank, with limit being higher on higher tiers.

Wow bro, the progressions scaling for elite wasn't shown in portal at all, it was simply mentioned, it's in-game now though. (25 bonds levels 1-9 with 250 bonds every 10th level until 100)

But keep getting mad for no reason, carry on.

This is BS Wargaming! Nothing more than pay to win when you can spend 6500 gold and get better modules! The cosmetic stuff is fine but the modules should NOT be a part of it! Not to mention that this is about twice as expensive as battle passes in other games.

IF this doesn't make you angry as a player then you have no clue what is really going on here!!!!!!!

Doesn't make me angry at all.  I know what is going on here it is fodder for the drama queens.  You can get the rammer with bonds so f2p can be on equal footing so what's all the crying about?  This is like crying that players can buy credits in order to spam nonstop gold.
