wthis this crap!? I have had no problems for about a week.  I log in tonight first battle of the night and get this.

Ping is all over the map and packetloss is out of sight.  Then I hit the record and turn on pingplotter.

The time stamp on the recording says 10:10pm so this was recorded right at 10pm.

Low and behold the only server showing packet loss is wargaming's server.  Since the pingplotter docs say the only thing

that matters is the *final hop* that means the problem is wholly at the destination server.

Here's a 5 minute video: https://youtu.be/R-AdVDgc7Po

In short: WARGAMING FIX YOUR FKING SERVER!!!

I had the same issue, ping plotter  showed  packet loss only with WG server, I had something like 20% packet loss

WGs servers are taking a beating now with all the extra players on these days in isolation. just like every other online service out there:

Amazon prime (no longer offering 2 day shipping. its a week now due to high loads)
Amazon prime video has loss of definition and more buffering
Nexflix see above^
hulu? also see above
Microsoft Teams and Office 365? Loss of anything more than basic features just to keep the servers online while the whole world logs in.
slack/discord etc? See previous ^

Don't make excuses when they were having many issues before the virus.

definitely not making excuses. just pointing out the obvious factors for excessive packet loss at prime time. yeah theres a bit of loss now and then and sometimes it gets jumpy sure. but lately the excessive rubber banding is more related to server overload and crazy high traffic the net is seeing right now than Telia's 'wizard level' 1337 hax server farm

WG must have forgotten to feed the hamster that powers their server again.

Come on WG server admin support staff member (part time unpaid intern I might add)....do your job and feed Chucky the hamster his morning kibble.

issue went away for a few week and came back last. the game's unplayable when it's like this. never had an issue with this until this year - and i've been playing since beta... which is just as dumb in its own right.

What’s absolutely maddening is you send in a ticket and they claim they are having zero issues....

Game tech support staff are almost "required" by their respecitve bosses to never blame their product.

Heavy tank disappeared in an open field with 2 lights in direct line of sight kills of them without being spotted. "working as intended, sir"

Tank teleporting across the map from ping jumping around and packet loss at wargaming server "working as intended, sir"

Shot passed through a solid wall "working as intended, sir".

Heavy tank "crushed" by a type 64 when the heavy pushed the type against a wall.  "working as intended, sir"

The most ridiculous things are always "working as intended".

Not limited to Wargaming though:

I had this with ubisoft about 10 yrs ago now. I was playing splinter cell chaos theory.  I had a save game file that was corrupted.  Crashed every time

I would load into that particular save file.  Made a support ticket.  The tech would have had me change my OS, CPU and Memory in his blaming my

computer for the issue. "Update drivers, blah, blah, blah... "  When all I had to do was *delete* the bad file and begin the level over.

The problem *vanished* without doing anything else.

This issue has been affecting people for over a year, WG just ignores it. On the few times they have acknowledged some kind of network problem, like on 3/11, they lie. If anyone puts in a ticket they get the same copy & paste reply every time then WG auto-closes the ticket. I've sent pingplotter, tcpdump, wireshark, etc files to them and always get the same canned response.

This is total clownshoes at this point. I would fire my entire team for not fixing this and then probably get fired for it not getting fixed; and only have 24 hrs to do it in.

Just the fact that people affected can play any other online game or connect to WG EU without issues tells you it's on the server end.

in the same boat... issue for me seems to only appear in the evenings... not every evening but has been several times a week for the last month now at least for me.

and yes they have had outages only affect some of the population, so perhaps not everyone is experiencing the same thing.

I went so far as to unhook my router and run the cat 5e ethernet cable right from modem to my computer.    (I bought my own modem and separate router last summer.)

It has not made a dent.  But using DSLreports.com and speedtest.net speed tests both show it not only wargaming;

It's probably all of the internet.  Comcast gives me 86megabits down and barely 6Mbps up, but at the end of the that download test it also times out

and the speed drops to dial-up speeds generating an error.     It never did that before and does the same thing to most any server be in local at

College Station, TX or LA. That speaks of an overloaded comcast and probably general internet at-large too overwhelmed with millions of people

home using their internet for streaming, gaming and business from home.

Seems to start around the same time as ranked battles these days. Most likely the server cannot handle the different game modes that are running simultaneously.

So whatever was up yesterday has gone away yet again as fast as it appeared.

Still showing some packetloss at Telia peers and at Wargaming's Chicago server.    That comes and goes but it's 0.3% now not 20%.

Again the final hop is really all that matters per pingplotter's documentation so any packetloss that shows at the destination like high ping is what matters.

So wargaming's server is showing between 0.2 and 0.3% packet loss right now as of 936pmCDT.

On a technical side WHY can't I put that link into the add image option?  It says it cannot use it.

Thanks.  The forum option to do that kept saying it would not accept the link.  *crazy mixed up Russians* :/
