as for the highlighted part, I'd like to subscribe to your technical blog where you calculate the kinetic inertia of a made up tank's shell impacting and presenting sheer forces upon a made up target tank sufficient to "tear it in half"...

if the jpz was angled downward there's a tiny chance the derp gun's shell missed the giant gun of the jpz and penetrated the front engine deck.
years ago I did that with the tier 9 russian arty and nearly one shot a jpz with an HE Pen...

Possible as you said but remotely and would require either extreme skill or extreme luck. I doubt the story as the OP told it.

I was in my IS7 yesterday and this pesky T49 kept hitting with his derp gun and the 3 times he hit me I dont think he did any damage. Of course I hit him 3 times and a teamate finished him off. Sometimes the bear gets you and sometimes it doesn't.

I remember one time a few years ago when an E-100 bounced his shot off my (at the time tier 8) RU 251 rear. He raged in all-chat (tells you how long ago that was).
Know why I remember it? Because it was the one time it happened in 5 years of playing lights.

Should have just stopped at "I was playing the jpe100" it gets the majority of your point across.
