21Apr - 28Apr Gen. Chat returns to WoT. 

 

During this time you can talk with the enemy team while you battle. Oh Boy!

For the details including how to disable it click HERE.

 

The next part is something that will be updated as more comes out. All newly released phases will link back to this page. 

 

There are 5 acts for this 10th anniversary, details can found below: 

 

Act one is happening 21Apr - 18May. (video is wrong)

        Act one mission details can be found HERE. Breather missions run from 28Apr - 4May

 

Throughout the time of the anniversary, there will be special missions, which offer coins for a store. 

     You earn coins by just playing the game and can unlock (along with a sum of gold) rare-ish tanks and styles.

     When you complete all the missions in an Act you will be given a golden key. 3 golden keys unlock a 3D style for the T-30.

It still is an offense and you can get sanctioned for doing it. 

 

Report a player with a replay is all it takes.

Just so I'm clear, the reward at the end of this is a 3D style for T30?  No reward tanks?  Or how about an anniversary gift tank?

Wonderful, I wanted an opportunity to spend more money. The 10 years was worth it!

Reporting player positions was a reportable offense before the general chat was removed. Honestly I love using the general chat to say Hi to my friends on the enemy team. It was fun to "o7" clan mates I was fighting against.

 

In arty I loved taunting the enemy team after I would shoot them. My name + arty = much rage. Or when arty would shoot me they would taught me, "I brought the rain." Honestly it was a feature I truly enjoyed.

all chat? really? So when we turn off general chat as you show us, does that mean dead toxic players cant tell other team the positions of the living tanks? Im not even a good player but its not fun when dead teamates give out positions. People will be sending in lots of tickets, lol.   I could care less about dumb stuff thats said but this will affect game play in an unfair way.

There are reward tanks you can "buy" with the anniversary coins you earn + some gold. These 3 tanks will change out for every act. 

 

The ultimate free award is a 3D style for the T-30.

Removing of all chat is one of the reasons i dont play any more. After a good brawl i did enjoy to say grats to enemy who knocked me out.

All chat should stay!

This is not a complaint per say, just a suggestion. It would have been nice if the 3D style would of been for one of the tier IX reward tanks like the Phase 1, with Frontline being easy enough for almost every player to get a tank the 3D style would of been a very nice bonus. Maybe something like this can be done down the road, see y’all on the battlefield.

Cross battle-chat enabled and emboldened very nasty, toxic, evil, bitter, hate filled people to ruin chat.  It also enabled total jerks on your, "team", to give away your position to the enemy team and this frequently happened! Shutting off cross battle-chat was the best improvement you ever made to this game.  Don't mess it up!
